Job description
Main purpose: To lead and oversee the provision of cyber forensics and forensic data expertise during national, provincial and strategic investigations into maladministration and corruption within State institutions, in support of the Multi-Disciplinary Approach (“MDA”) to all projects/assignments across the organisation.
Manage cyber investigations, digital forensics, and incident response engagements per applicable methodologies. Proficiency in identifying the systems and logs for analysis, documentation and report writing. Knowledge of networks, operating systems, databases, static and dynamic malware analysis, reverse engineering, digital forensics and cloud analytics. Be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive data and cybersecurity program that aligns with SIU objectives and ensures compliance with industry regulations. Lead the collection, interpretation, and analysis of massive volumes of data, leveraging complex financial or statistical modelling, fraud detection and other suspicious transaction techniques to address operations’ day-to-day requirements. Analyse large and disparate data to support or refute the facts and allegations of disputes, investigations and litigations.
Key performance areas (Include but are not limited to): Management of the Delivery of Cyber Forensics and Forensics Data, Involvement in National, Provincial and Strategic Projects Requiring Cyber Forensics and Forensics Data Expertise. Minimum requirements
B Honours Degree in Cyber Forensics or Data Forensics or related field (NQF 8). Formal Project Management qualification or an approved Cyber or Data Forensics Certification would be advantageous. Membership with a professional body would be advantageous. Six to eight years in Cyber or Forensic Data Investigations, of which four years are at a management level.

Job description
Main purpose: To provide expert training to all SIU personnel (including managers, investigators, and support staff, as well as to Government Departments, Law Enforcement Agencies in South Africa, SADC and on the continent, on various Microsoft Office packages and digital investigations training. The role will focus on enhancing the digital skills of employees to support the agency’s investigations and administrative functions.
Key performance areas (Include but are not limited to): Design and deliver training programs on Microsoft Office packages, as well as digital investigations training courses. Train investigators on open-source intelligence and cyber-related investigations. Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, guides, and online resources. Work closely under the guidance of the Trainer on material development. Periodically update and maintain the SETA database as well as the SIU Learning Management System (LMS) with information on all learners trained. Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees as needed. Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless integration of training programs with agency systems. Job description
Main purpose: To maintain the accreditation and compliance of the SIU Anti-Corruption and Cyber Academy at a strategic and operational level and ensure adherence and application of applicable legislation, Regulations, and Policies.
Key performance areas (Include but are not limited to): Manage the accreditation and extension of the accreditation for the academy. Coordination and facilitation of the establishment of the Assessment Centre.
Maintaining and updating the Quality Management System (QMS) as and when required. Handling the Facilitation of qualification and curriculum development. Facilitate and Liaise with the qualifications content creators (internally and SIU external partners), subject matter experts, the relevant SETA and the international cyber expert to ensure that learning materials are aligned with the curriculum and SAQA requirements. Stakeholder Management. Coordinate the registration and reregistration of assessors and moderators of the academy. Oversee the assessments and moderations of the Learner PoEs done by assessors and moderators. Ensure adherence to preparing the Final Integrated Summative Assessment (FISA) and External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) of the academy.
Required knowledge and Behavioural (include but not limited to): Knowledge of the requirements of the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), SETAs and Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO).

Main purpose: To provide expert training to investigators within anti-corruption and law enforcement agencies in South Africa, SADC and the continent on Forensic Investigations, including digital investigations. The role will focus on developing and delivering high-quality training programs, assessing learner performance, and collaborating with international cyber experts.
Key performance areas (Include but are not limited to): Develop and deliver training programs on Forensic Investigations, including digital investigations (cyber forensics, cryptocurrency, open-source intelligence, AI investigations, Beneficial Ownership, Procurement Investigations, amongst others). Guide senior practitioner: Trainer on curricular development work. Create technical course content and work closely with the senior practitioner curriculum development, Accreditation and Qualifications to ensure alignment. Assess learner performance and upload assessment results onto the Public Sector Education and Training database, and the SIU Anti-Corruption and Cyber Academy Learning Management System (Moodle Platform).
