Job Overview:The main purpose is primarily to ensure maximum plant availability through effective preventative and planned maintenance and will accordingly attend to all breakdowns, diagnosis (using different problem-solving techniques) and conduct the necessary repairs and mechanical modifications and sign off work done as meeting required standards.

Conducts Diagnosis of Equipment Failures

  • Works with and through technicians and other employees to establish mechanical and equipment performance before breakdowns were reported
  • Establishes whether the equipment breakdown is related to a missed planned maintenance or part failure or human interference
  • Uses any of the problem (finding and) solving techniques like 5-Whys, RCA, decision trees etc to pinpoint the real problem behind failures/breakdowns
  • Completes job card in consultation with the maintenance planner and requisitions a part or modifies mechanical parts depending on the outcome of the above

Conducts Preventative Maintenance

  • Performs defined and/or ad hoc condition monitoring on mechanical equipment
  • Completes documentation relating to work done for future reference in the event of failures
  •  May replace parts in the event of noted probable failures to ensure continuous equipment running
  • Continuous reference to equipment drawings, engineering standards and GMPs in the performance and closing out of jobs done

Planned Maintenance

  • Ensures that scheduled maintenance in terms of Engineering plans is conducted as prescribed following defined protocols and compliance to GMPs
  • Ensures that machined spares are available as and when required and shall schedule time to execute this one
  • Completes job cards and parts requisition documents timeously to improve on mean time to repair thus ensuring high plant availability

Plant Breakdowns

  • Attends to all mechanical plant breakdowns following or informed by diagnosis conducted under point 1 above
  • In the event of mechanical modifications, follows defined procedures in updating relevant documentation and equipment records
  • Proactively escalates equipment problems to ensure minimal time stoppages
  • Maintains IPS standards on the respective lines
  • Clearly demarcated workstation in accordance with procedures in the event of major work to minimise disruptions and possible injuries as a result of human traffic and area being used as thoroughfare
  • Adheres to AIB and relevant food safety programmes and environmental protocols
  • Completes documentation of work done and close out on ad hoc call outs
  • Updates parts/spares records in conjunction with the stores (OEM, machined and generic spares/parts)
  • Monitors equipment performance after attending to and fixing problems

Qualifications

  • Qualified Trade Tested Fitter
  • Min N3 Engineering qualification
  • Min 3 years post trade test experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Good mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding skills
  • Ability to prepare and read mechanical schematics
  • Ability to carry out basic welding, machining and drilling
  • Working knowledge of lifting equipment e.g. chain blocks, hydraulic jack
  • Fully conversant with Environmental, Health and Safety Standards
  • Responsible for Technical Assets
  • Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office and maintenance software (SAP preferably)

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our dynamic team.   • To ensure quality through auditing, investigations, troubleshooting, proposing corrective actions, and coordinating projects to foster continuous improvement.
  • To facilitate a smooth shift as well as an efficient shift handover, ensuring that a comprehensive shift report is completed in line with the necessary requirements.
  • To ensure that AIB, food safety and quality standards are maintained throughout.
  • The jobholder must ensure that the achievement of the four KPI’s of cost, service, quality and people are maintained as per their PDR.

The Digital Specialist will operate in a matrix environment within internal and external cross functional networks at local and global levels and leverage new technologies to support a best-in-class SA Consumer Relations team. The role will focus on human empathy, supporting CR Manager with the day-to-day management of the digital workflows, acting as first point of contact for digital channels, escalating concerns and trending quality issues/hot topics.

The role is also responsible for supporting the CR Manager with effective Red Alert and High Alert escalation contact resolution through multiple channels (email, phone & post), to ensure the delivery of service excellence. Operating within internal and external cross functional networks (including front line call centre) to prioritise workloads, deliver against team KPIs and SLAs and identify, implement and review new opportunities to simplify and grow team skills,

contact management protocols, systems capability and best practice aligned with SA market.

The SA CR Digital Specialist will be accountable for the delivery of competitive advantaged service through:

  • Acting as first POC for Social media complaints, queries and engagement.
  • First POC for Red alert and High Alert escalated issues, recognising and communicating key issues and trends to
  • Line Manager, escalating hot topics and quality trends to SA Quality Management Team, minimizing risk and ensuring rapid and effective resolution. Provide Out of Hours cover and support to Line Manager as required.
  • Delivery of Brand focused community management for PepsiCo SA portfolio of brands to drive engagement, resolution and advocacy.
  • Responsible for the effective CR management of the Digital Platform System; identifying and implementing efficiencies and creating best practice.
  • Delivery of key digital functional monitoring and reporting capability to drive wider business awareness of issues and trends.

  • Driving call centre team capability through 1:1s, coaching and quality monitoring to ensure the delivery of best in class digital support.
  • Developing and maintaining strong cross functional network to support delivery of key business priorities and future focused CR growth e.g. self-serve and social media community management focus.
  • Positively Engage and influence brand leads and external agencies to deliver CR capability and support for brand and business promotion activity, ensuring the consumer is at the heart of all interactions.

Job Overview:To enhance the company’s cash flow and minimize the administrative risk of nonpayment or delayed payment by large Modern Trade Customers. The role is responsible for all the direct activities of the credit control function, which includes proactively managing and collecting payments from the company’s largest debtors (adherence to customer rules and requirements). Ensuring both on time collection and maintenance of outstanding debts within agreed targets and trading terms. Monthly claims management and analysis, by controlling and resolving claims timeously communicating with all role players/claim management per customer portal and automation procedures critical skills. Reporting and customer relationship management is also a major requirement of this position.

Capturing of Payments and Accurate Reconciliation of Debtor’s Accounts

  • Modern Trade accounts have very specific requirements per customers that must be adhered to- special knowledge and skill required.

Claims Management

  • Control and processing of all claims deducted by customer in the form of transport claims, sallies, other ADHOCs, pricing and stock claims/proper management of claims on customer portals/compiling rebate schedules in accordance with customer trading terms in order for processing by rebate department.
  • Control of ADHOC claims via CRM system- ensure accurate provision, approval prior to processing and reporting thereof.

Master Data Management

Reporting

  • 30, 60, 90, 120 days reporting and action plans. POD Control reporting, Price Discrepancy report, Cash Inflow and Settlement discount report
  • Advising superiors of potential forced credits to release blocked payments or avoid late or non-payments to take necessary action steps
