2.1  The Purpose of the Role

The individual in the role is responsible for overseeing broadcast logistics and special projects at e.tv. The role ensures that current affairs and special projects programming meet high broadcast standards while fostering a productive working environment. –          Maintaining and reviewing server and application security to ensure data protection and recoverability for all supported systems.

–          Maintaining inventory and asset configuration documentation.

–          Managing help desk requests and ensure compliance with service level agreements.

–          Monitoring and analysing system trends in the operational environment

–          Performing health system checks on areas of responsibility

–          Providing detailed documentation of daily activities of own and junior staff.
