LECTURER (PERMANENT)
Salary: R270 498.00 per annum.PL1
(Ref no. GSC81/2025), Ermelo Campus: Engineering Studies

Minimum requirements: An appropriate recognized Degree or National Diploma
(NQF level 6), backed by professional qualification in Education Equivalent to REQV
13 Be able to teach Electrical Control and Digital Electronics L2-L4, Electronics
Level 2 Computer literacySACE registration. Instrumentation background. Driver’s
licence will be an advantage.

Duties: Assist with the recruitment of students and manage their induction,
attendance records, performance assessment and determination of training needs,
discipline and workplace for students Lecture electrical subjects on the level
required Ensure quality education and adherence to College and subject policies
Liaise with the students, parents and employers. Assist with planning and
implementation of occupational programmes.

Minimum requirements: An appropriate recognised bachelor’s degree or National
Diploma (NQF Level 6), backed by professional qualification in Education equivalent
to REQV 13 Three years’ teaching experience at TVET CollegeBe able to teach:
Marketing, Marketing Communication, Advertising & Promotions or Economic
environment, Applied Accounting & Financial Management in N(CV) level 2-4, sound
communication skills. Computer Literacy SACE registration. Drivers licence.

Duties: Assist with the recruitment of students and their induction Give support to
students in developing critical thinking skills Assist the Head of Division with day-today management duties Give professional guidance and support to lecturers
Oversee assessments and moderation Perform lecturing duties as allocated
Perform any other reasonable work-related duties as expected from the manager
Responsible for work allocation and time tabling as per academic calendar Support
the implementation of occupational programmes.
