Role Context
To proactively manage system capacity, security, and compliance for Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia, and South Africa. Ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) and operational level agreements (OLAs) are met or exceeded. By leveraging technology-driven solutions, the role supports early benefits realization, cost optimization, and operational efficiency, enabling a smooth digital transformation within the organization.
Key responsibilities
· Effective deployments, early benefits realization by ensuring plans reflect optimized time-to-market
· Ensure that existing and new Features and Functions within core applications are maximized
· Develop realistic achievable and price conformant Service and Operational Service Level Agreements with business stakeholders and ensure back-to-back compatibility with dependent service providers
· Maintain service quality and availability ito applications, office automation and communications and ensure that infrastructure uptime is monitored in line with established SLAs and OLAs
· Deploy solutions and ensure appropriate configurations on all servers and customs related applications /servers
· Ensure business continuity via appropriate topologies, archive and recovery strategies
· Institutionalize continuous quality improvement via ongoing Root Cause Analysis and Eradication.
· Be Point of escalation in service failure situations and ensure proactive management and stakeholder communication of incidents by involving all appropriate workgroups
· Monitor and scale capacity – up and down – ahead of demand (Hardware and Communications infrastructure).
· Ensure hardware refresh policy is optimized for maximum cost effectiveness
· Implement cost effectiveness programmes and submit potential cost reduction initiatives for review and consideration
· Ensure adherence to global KPI and to report performance in line with standard reporting requirements
· Internal and external vendor and customer relationship management
· Lead or participate in global/regional initiatives as part of a virtual IT function

• Executes planning and scheduling vehicles/trucks for local deliveries.

• Maintain and update the Combined Load Register daily to ensure accurate tracking of loads.

Qualifications
• Matric
• Degree/ Diploma in Logistics/ Transport Management (advantageous).
Experience
• 1-3 years’ experience in transport/ logistics environment
• Computer literacy (MS Office, transport management systems)
• Good analytical and numerical skills

Provide day-to-day administrative support for Payroll activities with the objective of accurate and timely employee payments in line with readily available advice, quality standards and timelines for Office, Vinliner and the Flexitank Division.

In this Payroll Administrator position
· Send out Attendance register as per emails received from Divisions – purpose: fire fighters record and production planning
· Monitoring clock machine (Clocking system: Simplex Time Recorders Time log)
· Update attendance excel report
· Insert leave/sick leave/f/leave on clocking system
· Import clocking information to payroll system
· To ensure payslips are accurate and handed out timeously before pay date
· Provide payroll related information when required by management with regards staff information
· Payrolls reports and payslips must be given to Imraan Bowers and Zaino Benjamin for authorization.
· Export salary files to FIHRST, ensure that the totals correspond with the payroll reports.
· Authorize salary payments in FIHRST.
· Ensure that monthly provident fund payments are made to Sanlam.
· Process salaries onto Pastell
· Prepare all statutory reports for SARS, MEIBC, Trade Union, Provident Fund and Medical Benefits to ensure accurate payments are made
· Contact person for Flexicare Discovery: New members/queries
· Process payments onto Pastell
· Provide Absent Report to Finance Manager
· Provide Overtime Report to the Finance Manager
· IOD’s – Handle all paperwork (doctors/ Dept of Labour)
· Assist HR Manager with admin duties relating to: Interviews, Terminations and Contracts
· Prepare Intercompany Spreadsheets for all revenue accounts for Intercompany purposes
Stakeholder management
· Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own team
· Communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation
Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships.
On-boarding
· Preparation of employee welcome packs, which is to be handed to new employees on start date
· Ensure that completed documentation is received back from new employees and handed to payroll before payroll deadline
· Follow up with new employees on progress of on-boarding training.
