SEASONAL BEACH LIFEGUARDS

Applicants must be in possession of a: Grade 10 OR equivalent qualification •A minimum
of 1-3 years lifesaving experience is required • A Lifeguard Award with valid annual retests
will be an added advantage • Clear criminal record and NO pending criminal cases or awaiting
trial and/or pending sentencing cases • Drug Free • Level 2 First Aid Certificate will be an
added advantage.

Duties will entail: Performing lifeguarding duties as part of a team at a designated beach •
The Lifeguards will be reporting directly to the Disaster Risk Management Officer •
Rendering First Aid

Competencies: Community and Customer Focus • Problem Solving • Communication •
Resilience • Ethics and Professionalism

T6 (Estimated CTC R 318 217.45 p.a.)
Basic Salary: T6 (R 179 068.53 – R 232 438.55 p.a)
