The role:
To direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in performing a variety of production operations aimed at achieving planned production targets. Ensure the effective use of available resources in a safe and sustainable manner.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Responsible for drilling and blasting activities at the mine
- Ensures the effective management of employees to achieve all Safety, Health, Environmental, Planning and Production targets
- Legal responsibility for all activities under his/her control with regards to safety
- Communicates all relevant legal and operational policies, procedures, standards and guidelines and ensures that these are implemented and followed
- Ensure that operational planning and production targets are achieved
- Develops and maintains constructive working relationships with peers, subordinates and contractors
- Meeting production targets with strict adherence to maintenance and production schedules
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Mathematics or Math Literacy, English, NQF Level 4 Further Education and Training Certificate in Mining Operations with DMRE Opencast Blasting certificate or Mining Engineering (BSc Eng, B Tech or Advanced Diploma, B Eng., National Diploma in Coal Mining / Engineering)
- Minimum of 4 years appointed as a mining foreman in a production environment
- Sound knowledge of Safety Systems, Regulations and Standards with high regard for safety and good safety record
- Good managerial, supervisory, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of mining methods, mining, and environmental legislation
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite & SAP
- Valid driver’s license
- In possession or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness
Advantageous:
- Experience in Drill and Blast activities
- Acting experience as a Mine Overseer
- MOC/Mining Intern Programme completed
- Coaching and mentoring training

The role:
The role is responsible to conduct and interpret VOHE related measurements and make safety decisions that are guided by the VOHE standards.

Requirements:
- Grade 12 Maths (Not Literacy) and Science or N3 Math and Science
- Practical Certificate in Mine Environmental Control (MEC)
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in VOHE and stone dust sampling competency
- Good communication skills
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Valid Driver’s license
- In possession or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness
Advantageous:

The Role
The FP&A Specialist is integral to the Group Finance function, providing comprehensive financial analysis, strategic insights, and decision-support to senior leadership. This role ensures alignment between financial performance and corporate strategy, facilitating effective planning, forecasting, and performance management across the group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to evaluate business scenarios and support decision-making.
- Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods providing explanations for variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Provide management reporting with clear insights and recommendations.
- Analyse business performance trends, KPIs, and drivers of profitability.
- Partner with business units to support strategic initiatives and resource allocation.
- Prepare scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate risks and opportunities.
