Accountable to the Consumer BU to grow the Fixed Line Revenue according to the Consumer 5 Year Business Plan. To achieve this the declining fixed line copper revenue (data & voice) needs to be mitigated, FFTH offering compete against the competitors, the Telkom ISP transformed into a competitive brand and business. And to grow the Broadband (Fixed wireless i.e. FLTE and 5G) Revenue according to the Consumer 5 Year Business Plan, while Optimizing the broadband traffic across Fixed and Wireless Network (4G and 5G). While growing the Smart Home and IoT solutions capability with accompanying revenue. The Executive ensures full end-to-end delivery of the Products, Revenue and Customer Experience according to the strategy and focus of the function.

Job Responsibilities
The primary functions of the Executive: Home Solutions – Fixed and Broadband are:
a) the Fixed & Broadband (Fixed wireless) Product portfolio
b) Support the Sales Channels for Fixed, Broadband and Smart Solutions
c) Business lead for the Consumer Internet Service Provider (ISP) and,
d) Operations support for fixed, broadband & smart home customers, partners, and internal staff.

Strategic Functions:
Business Planning: Partakes in the Consumer Business Planning process and its related activities as per annual cycle requirement.
Commercial Management Team: Form part of the Consumer Commercial team and contributes as functional Fixed, Broadband and Smart Home Solutions expert to the team.
Department Strategy: Design, facilitate, deliver, enable, and implement a Fixed Line strategy and Broadband strategy for the Consumer Business Unit in accordance with the Consumer Business Plan and Strategy.
The strategy needs to deal with maintaining and growing the Fixed Line and broadband revenue, whilst building up new business in the Smart Home & IoT Solutions space.
Performance Management & Budgets: Establish, develop, manage, align and report performance scorecards and targets as per functional department requirements and responsibilities.
Reporting follows the standard Commercial team performance reporting requirements as on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.

Tactical Functions:
Ensure functional strategies and objectives for the Fixed Line, Broadband & Smart Home department in Product Development & Management, Sales, Operations and support.
Design departmental processes, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Plan and control department resources and capacities within the annual approved Fixed, Broadband & Smart Solution budget to ensure reaching Consumer business targets.
Continuous improvement of the operations in the most cost-effective manner.

Operational Functions:
Fixed, Broadband & Smart Product Portfolio to position the Consumer BU in a revenue growth position for fixed, Broadband & Smart Solution product solutions.
The portfolio includes Fixed Voice, FTTH&DSL, FTTR, FLTE/5G, Smart Home Solutions and Consumer IoT solutions.
Full product portfolio management covers product development, product management, as well as partner management to include Fibre Network Operator (FNO) and other partners to deliver solutions.
Fixed, Broadband & Smart Sales Channels to promote and sell fixed and smart solutions through the Consumer distribution network, as well as through third party partners to grow market share and revenue. The existing sales channels for Fixed focuses on third-party partners, internal sales team and inbound and outbound Call Centres.
Liaison with Regions and Direct Sales channels to ensure alignment to drive revenue growth.
Support the Internet Service Provider to operate and service Consumer customers. In liaison with the EXCO team the ISP needs to follow the proposed re-engineering approach to increase value and stem the tide of losing customers due to DSL migration and increased competition in the FFTH market.

This includes the strategy, brand and repositioning of the ISP as to other current ISP market players.
Fixed, ISP and Smart Support to ensure that performance and commercial agreements are in place and followed, orders are fulfilled, and put-in-service completed, with necessary stakeholder support.
Customer and partner experience is of critical important to ensure customers are retained and offers up- selling opportunities.
