- PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- The Employee Benefits Officer position audits, administers and maintains employee master data and payroll transactions of the customer’s workforce in the areas of resourcing, bursary administration, performance management, remuneration and reward, and employee data. In addition, the position is required to deal with all customer queries.
- WORK OF ROLE
- Generate time and payroll simulation for employee, verify for errors and correct such errors
- Activate employee increase on master data and identify data mismatches by running reports and audit trails and verifying data on the system
- Audit all employee master data and transactional payroll submissions
- Calculate final separation values to establish leave compliment pay-out, pension pay-out, overtime, and any other funds due either to the employee or the organisation
- Calculate redundancy values and use to compile redundancy agreement
- Check all input documents before capturing to ensure that all fields are correctly completed, and the document is properly signed off and authorised
- Complete company insurance claim forms with HR and submit to third party company
- Determine system amendments required on system for rewards administration
- Develop an employee record on the HRIS (PAL) by processing employee data and remuneration directives from sign on pack
- Employee data and transactional payroll governance
- Prepare and check reports and data for accuracy by verifying correctness of input to source documentation
- Respond to requests (prioritize as appropriate), investigate problems and develop remedial plans to resolve queries that have been escalated from the contact and/or walk in centre within acceptable time parameters, further escalating problems as appropriate to enhance timeous resolution
- Update PAL with third party benefit information by capturing feedback responses from third party benefit providers
- Upload contractor information onto the employee record on the system by using information on the sign-on pack
- Upload PAL employee data change or update PAL accordingly by interpreting employee data maintenance request received from customer or HR
- Verify correctness of data template to source data, correct errors and upload data on the system
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Human Resources Management / Administration / Payroll
- EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR, payroll, and data management

- PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- The Mechanical Foreman is responsible to ensure a safe, efficient and productive engineering maintenance through the supervision of a team of artisans on the shaft. This must be done according to regulations and all laws relevant to the tasks.
- WORK OF ROLE
- Administration of necessary systems
- Electrical installations and equipment operate at specification
- Ensure inspections and use of hazardous machinery and equipment comply to legal and mine requirements
- Ensure that the process remains fully operational
- Maintains equipment and working areas at ‘Zero Tolerance’ compliance
- Monitors operational effectiveness of electrical cabling and power distribution facilities
- Promotes team concepts
- Supervises the installation and maintenance of all electrical units and components thereof
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12
- Trade Certificate
- Law and Standards with Supervisory Courses
- EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years post trade qualified experience
- Supervisory experience
- KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Valid driving license
- Basic computer literacy (Word/Excel/Outlook, Delta)
- English literate
