MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Will be the liaison principal contact and liaison person between maintenance, operations and other support departments
Manage The CMM System
- Maintenance scheduling, generate requests for new functional objects, Revise and creating of new task list
- Revise and creating of new Separate PM Actions, Review credibility of data in CMM syste
- Generate planned job cards, Asset care plans, capture feedback on the system & Generate reports
Manage Filling System
- Create /Design a filing system, ensure the quality of the filing execution & Unsure safekeeping of documentation
Relationship expectations:
Operations
- Reduce cost of maintenance while improving service
- Minimize downtime and interruptions to operate, provide orderly procedures for processing work
- Provide expert maintenance advice to operations through maintenance planning
Maintenance
- Permit advanced determination of labour resources needed and time required to complete each job
- Provide an overall plan for the supervisor on which to base his /her pre-thinking and pre-planning for day-to-day work
- Provide central source of information concerning maintenance work, equipment, and equipment repair
Management
- Permit accurate forecasting of labour and material needs.
- Permit immediate recognition of labour shortages and excesses.
- Provide factual data required for evaluation of performance and corrective action as needed.
- Provide full productive work for each tradesperson (capacity planning) and thus increasing productivity through the elimination of delays.
- Permit more accurate collection and analysis of cost and assure an economic level of maintenance with less interruption of production

Water Bowser Operator
The company would like to recruit a Water Bowser Operator to be based at Khanye Colliery in Bronkhorstspruit.
PURPOOSE:
The suitable candidate will be expected to perform dust control or suppression in and around the mine.

EXPERIENCE

- Always ensure ramps are not overwatered
- Adhere to all haul road traffic signs
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must water the surface at an appropriate speed at all times
- Ensure all lights are functional for visibility
- Must maintain good communication with fellow employees when entering loading areas to suppress dust conditions
- Ensure good housekeeping in the cab of the water bowser

The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the laundry facility. They will clean, dry, fold, and organise laundry items according to standards. The incumbent will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of auto-electrical equipment within the auto-electrical discipline, according to sound engineering practice and equipment specifications
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Grade 12
- Qualified Auto-electrician Trade Certificate through a recognised institution
- TMM mining equipment experience
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a mining workshop
- Sound knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repairs of fuel automation systems; PDS, PDI, cameras, lighting circuits of diesel machines & real-time systems
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring that all TMM auto electrical equipment and installations meet the required designs, installation, and maintenance standards
- Maintenance and repairs of all TMM auto-electrical equipment in the open cast mine, specifically with regards to the following: Generators, ADT, excavators, grader and Dozer Ext
- Ensure fixed mobile and transportable TMM auto electrical equipment associated with hot work or live testing, installed, or operated, is suitably certified in line with operational standards.
- Ensure that the maintenance and overhaul of TMM auto electrical equipment is installed and/or operated or intended to be installed and/or operated, in accordance with relevant standards
- Align with planned maintenance, including the maintenance of relevant records for all auto electrical equipment and installations in responsibility
- Adherence to policies and procedures
- Upholding of safety, health, and environmental standards to achieve Zero Harm
- Maintenance of the Khanye Colliery/Siding back-up generators; lighting plants, pit pumps and auto electrical systems

The incumbent will play a key role in overseeing various TMM workshop jobs, with a focus on material expenses, safety and precision.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 with valid trade test certificate – diesel mechanic
- At least five years proven experience in an engineering workshop with TMMs in a supervisory capacity, preferably in the mining environment
- Must be familiar with the Mine Health and Safety Act
- Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s licence
EXPERIENCE
- The candidate must have experience in manufacture/installations and should have at least five years’ experience working in a workshop as a manager
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Undertake to plan the spares requirements according to the planned maintenance schedule and ensure the availability
