EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FIXED-TERM CONTRACT UNTIL 31 MARCH 2026
SALARY RANGE: SALARY: T11 (R331 764,00 PER ANNUM) + FRINGE BENEFITS

CORE FUNCTION
Responsible for the general mechanical maintenance and repair of vehicles, equipment, and
construction machinery, as well as the supervision and management of personnel, equipment, and
tools as allocated.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic through successful completion of a 4-year Department of
  Labour-approved apprenticeship, or alternatively, a Trade Certificate obtained by passing a
  trade test as approved by the Department of Labour.
• Grade 12.
• At least 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of earthmoving machinery.
• Valid EC driver’s licence.
• Good communication skills.

PLEASE NOTE:
Successful candidates will be required to undergo medical testing in order to comply with the
requirements of the Construction Regulations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of
1993, as amended).
