SALARY : R1 146 154.90 PER ANNUM (INCLUDING BENEFITS)
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree in Risk Management/Accounting or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: 5 years relevant experience of which 3 in supervisory capacity
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND UNDERSTANDING: To identify existing and potential
risks to which the municipality is exposed and, provide strategic leadership in the
development, implementation, monitoring and reporting on integrated risk related
policies and risk practice in the municipality.
SUMMARY OF CORE FUNCTIONS: Provide Risk and Security Management
strategic support to the municipality. Manage and coordinate the development and
implementation of security management, fraud and crime prevention policy and
strategy. Provide operational reports and manage stakeholder relationships.

legislations,computer literacy, safety regulations, familiarity with all areas, policies
and procedures of the organisation,communication and conflict management
skills,numeracy, detailed knowledge of the general tools and techniques of risk
management, proactive, report writing skills, analytical skills ,negotiation skills,
creativity and flexibility.

and mitigation processes,risk awareness and compliance and provide administrative
