The Gauteng Province – Ekurhuleni Office has a vacancy for a Provincial Manager: Administration.

Purpose: To oversee the smooth running of the CCMA provincial and regional support services and operations

Key Requirements:

  • Unless a candidate can demonstrate suitability through experience of Supervisory level experience of not less than five (05) years, a National Diploma in Public Management or similar relevant qualification
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Administration Management and/or Case Management of which 3 years is management/supervisory experience
  • Training on latest legislation / amendments, using the Case Management System, Management Training, Supply Chain, Procurement System (ACCPAC) & CCMA policies and procedures

Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

The Governance and Strategy Department, in the National Office, has a vacancy for a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist.

Purpose: Develop and implement monitoring and evaluating systems, frameworks and studies ensuring optimized levels of transparency, accountability and responsibility whilst upholding the mandate of the organisation and its team members. The role involves utilising appropriate strategic management tools, the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will assist the Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring to manage the CCMA’s planning processes, both at a strategic and operational level, ensuring that in the delivery of the CCMA’s vision, mission and mandate, ensuring that there are approved Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plans. Furthermore, the Specialist will assist the Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring to ensure that Departments and Provinces are operating on approved Operational Plans. Moreover, the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will assist with facilitation of performance monitoring and reporting (quarterly mid-term, and annually) and conducting evaluations (i.e. mid and end-term impact assessments for the CCMA.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Developing and assist in implementing Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plans
  • Developing annual operational plan (Departmental and Provincial Operational Plans)
  • Organisational performance monitoring and reporting (Strategic and Operational)
  • Producing quarterly consolidated/integrated performance reports
  • Producing of the annual reports
  • Conducting evaluations

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Public Management, Developmental Studies, Administration, or Social Sciences or Economics or Commerce or equivalent experience in strategic and operational planning and performance monitoring.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Practical knowledge and practical experience in using strategy and performance tools.
  • Knowledge of planning and performance monitoring frameworks and guidelines governing the CCMA as a public entity
  • A good understanding of legislations and policies applicable to the CCMA as a public entity
  • Demonstration of the ability to manage big projects
