JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design conceptualization, design layout and production of advanced visual communication materials including motion graphics, animated content, multimedia productions in support of Parliaments digital communications, print publications, media relations and public engagement platforms. The Specialist Graphic Design is also responsible for providing a strategic visual communication service for the entire PCS division, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and accessible visual content that effectively communicates Parliament’s work to diverse audiences across all communication channels in accordance with Parliament’s communication strategy and brand guidelines.

JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing protection duties within the Parliamentary precincts to ensure a safe and secure environment.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Access and agress of goods and persons.
  • Internal movement control.
  • Safety and security support.
  • Access to Chamber.
  • Disaster management on parliamentary precincts.

TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST HAVE:

  • This position requires a minimum qualification of Grade 12/ NQF Level 4 with Security Certificates.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

IN ADDITION, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DEMOSTRATE THE FOLLOWING SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS AND JOB-RELATED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sound knowledge of security principles
