What You’ll Do For The Brand:
Strategy & Planning
- Design and execute social media strategies aligned to employer brand, recruitment and internal marketing objectives.
- Develop platform-specific organic and paid strategies to increase awareness, engagement and traffic to career and employer brand channels.
- Apply strategic intent to position Hollywoodbets as an employer of choice within the South African market.
Paid & Organic Social Media
- Create, manage and optimise paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms including but not limited to Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Work closely with the social media and recruitment marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of organic and paid strategies.
- Monitor budgets, performance and audience targeting to maximise ROI.
Content Creation & Management
- Manage, create and publish high-quality, original employer brand content that highlights people, culture, values and career opportunities.
- Ensure all employer brand social media channels are current, engaging and aligned to brand tone and guidelines.
- Liaise with content creators, writers, designers and videographers to ensure content is informative, authentic and visually compelling.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with recruitment, internal communications and marketing teams to support hiring campaigns, key initiatives and internal milestones.
- Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure strategies are clearly briefed and executed.
- Provide guidance on employer brand-aligned social media usage when required
Measurement & Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on social media performance, engagement, reach, web traffic and ROI.
- Measure the success of employer brand and recruitment campaigns using reporting and analytics tools.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends, opportunities and content gaps.
Optimisation & Best Practice
- Monitor user engagement and audience behaviour, recommending content and channel optimisation where needed.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates and employer branding best practices.
- Apply insights and industry knowledge to help create distinctive, market-leading employer brand content.

Paid Social Specialist – Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa (On-site)
Responsibilities
- Develop & execute paid advertising campaigns on all Hollywoodbets social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube & Snapchat.
- Monitor & optimize campaigns to improve performance & achieve KPIs, such as but not limited to -ROAS, CPC, CTR, & CPAs.
- Regular A/B testing & reporting on findings.
- Conduct audience research & segmentation to target the right audience with the right message – including audience creation e.g. custom & lookalikes.
- Initiate required audience tracking for all ad accounts when necessary.
- Create effective digital funnels that acquire, remarket & retain customers.
- Create & manage ad creatives, including copy, images, videos, & l&ing pages
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as product & design, to ensure alignment & consistency in messaging.
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager to ensure alignment of strategies
- Analyze campaign data & provide regular (weekly, annual & quarterly) reports on performance & insights to the Social Media Manager.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, features, & best practices in social media advertising
Qualifications
- 2 – 4 years of experience in social media advertising, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, advertising tools, & analytics, especially Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Google (in reference to YouTube) Ads Manager.
- Experience with A/B testing, campaign optimization, & budget management / pacing.
- Experience with setting up effective pixel tracking, including server-side tracking.
- Strong knowledge in audience building, including custom & lookalikes.
- Experience with in-app advertising & knowledge of on platform app integration.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to write compelling ad copy & reports.
- Strong analytical skills & attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data & draw actionable insights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment & manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Motions Graphic Designer

The Motions Graphic Designer will be responsible for envisioning and designing motion graphics for video intros, titles and explainer videos. Integrate/composite animations into camera footage.

- Create animations for event and marketing videos e.g. lower thirds, titles, explainer videos
- Edit video and record audio for animations
- Work closely with graphic designers to ensure designs are implemented to brief.
- Adapt promotional artwork for video production

- Maintain department server order
- Create visuals for the digital marketing and social media departments (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Blog)
- Continuously assess the competitor and keep up with industry trends
- Scamping of new ideas for visual representation
- Liaise with the design department to get campaign artwork
- Work closely with copy writers, designers etc., to develop content, optimise the use of each digital channel for campaign efforts and execute the campaign vision.
- Take direction from department leadership, including documenting detailed requirements, and asking questions to clarify assignments.
- Evaluate emerging technologies; provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
- Contribute to brainstorming new and creative growth strategies.
