ROLE SUMMARY:

As a Global Service Desk Analyst, your primary purpose is to ensure the smooth operation of the services that are supported across Inspired Education’s global network by providing exceptional technical support. You will serve as the first point of contact for all incidents, requests, and queries, utilizing your expertise to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently while delivering outstanding customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

First Line Support & Request Fulfillment:

• Serve as the initial point of contact for all incidents and service requests, encompassing hardware, software, business applications, Edtech, network, and telecommunications issues.  
• Respond promptly to inquiries and deliver technical assistance via approved communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. 
• Assist remote users located across different time zones and geographical locations, leveraging approved remote desktop tools and other technologies to troubleshoot issues and deliver timely 
  support regardless of physical proximity. 
• Ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to any classroom session. 

Incident management 

• Monitor personal service metrics (such as response time, resolution time, customer satisfaction scores) and correct behavior to ensure targets are met. 
• Efficiently manage tickets, assigning the correct priorities, and accurately categorizing incidents. 
• Investigate and resolve reported faults, escalating as per protocol. 
• Monitor backlog and ensure prompt ticket resolution. 

Communication and Collaboration:

• Serve as a liaison between the Global Service Desk, other departments within Inspired Education and Vendors to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving.

ROLE SUMMARY:

Reddam House Waterfall is seeking an experienced and proactive Estate Manager to lead the full operations, maintenance, and facilities management of our vibrant school campus. This role is central to ensuring that all buildings, grounds, and infrastructure remain safe, compliant, and conducive to an exceptional educational environment. The Estate Manager will work closely with the Executive Headmaster and Senior Management Team to implement a comprehensive estate strategy, overseeing service teams, external contractors, safety standards, and daily campus operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the school estate, including service staff, maintenance schedules, security, and facility bookings.
  • Ensure all buildings, infrastructure, and grounds are well maintained, secure, and compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Hold weekly meetings with school leadership to align on plans, events, and operational needs.
  • Allocate job cards, supervise work progress, and sign off completed tasks.
  • Conduct regular audits of buildings and facilities and maintain records of inspections.

  • Secure and oversee Service Level Agreements; monitor third-party performance and compliance with OHS requirements.

Skills and Previous Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ teaching experience with students in the Early Learning School (ELS) phase or equivalent Early Learning/Reception setting.
  • Confident and proficient in the use of ICT to enhance teaching, learning, and classroom engagement. 
  • Previous experience with the Cambridge Curriculum and inquiry-based teaching and learning approaches.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The IT Manager will be based at our school in KZN (Umhlanga) ,and responsible for the day-to-day delivery of an IT Support Service to the Inspired Schools in the given province: Reddam House Umhlanga and Reddam House Ballito. 

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a competent IT Manager, who will handle the most difficult or advanced problems, including managing the IT Support Engineers. Our expectation is for this person to be an expert in more relevant IT technician fields and be responsible for research and development of solutions to new or unknown issues. One of the primary functions of this position is to supervise a variety of technical projects related to the setup, maintenance, and support of the School’s IT systems

  • Being responsible for IT Operation within the province, inclusive of 2 direct reports.
  • Manage caseloads (full escalations and requests for assistance).
  • Diagnose and solve technical issues at 3rd Support Level and where needed, escalate to external vendors and to other internal teams.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support including availability to perform on-call (after working hours) activities.
  • Detect, investigate, recreate and raise defects. Track defects through internal systems and turn around fixes for production issues, set up environment to reproduce issues and test potential workarounds and develop ad-hoc solutions to address issues as workarounds.
  • Ensuring that the IT Infrastructure and Networking services provided (including Hosting, Networks, Back-ups, Patching and Cybersecurity) consistently meet operational and business continuity requirements.
  • Write and review technical documents (Knowledge, Support Plans, Technical Advisory Bulletins) for internal use, leveraging opportunities for continuing education.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing effective relationships and communication with main IT stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Regional IT Manager to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Regional IT Manager to manage IT OPEX and IT CAPEX for the given schools.
