Aviation Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
- To achieve set financial objectives; sales volume, margin, day sales outstanding, return on assets under management
- To engage with customers; qualify sales opportunity, manage opportunity pursuit, conduct account planning, select and manage key accounts
- To manage sales operations; forecast sales, sales budget, sales communication and marketing events, facilitate sales process, organise sales collateral and tools, manage CRM, enforce legal compliance
- To partner with marketing and business development; customers, lead sourcing and develop value propositions and commercial messages and events
- To manage sales talent; build sales climate, source sales talent, facilitate on-boarding of new talent, develop training, support coaching outcomes
- Customer and company profitability for defined area:
- To give input on annual budgeting process and ensure sales budgets for Aviation are achieved
- To nurture, maintain and manage good customer business relationships
- To ensure continued improvement in the accuracy of sales forecasting
- To effectively manage pricing, rebates and discount levels and ensure all costing associated with customers is accounted for
- To manage the level of gross margin after variable expense (GMVE) per customer
- To manage customer credit (resolve errors, perform reconciliation), and ensure customer service delivery
- To conduct variance analysis/business reviews per customer, compare to budget and take corrective action where appropriate
- To profile, segment customers, and manage key accounts in order to accelerate sales and profit growth
- To effectively manage contracts and administration
- Commercial strategy for the area defined:
- To participate in developing of sales strategies and new business models and ensure all business models are up-to-date and effectively managed
- To develop new business opportunities in the aviation segment
- To implement and execute promotions and marketing strategies/activities as directed to ensure marketing objectives are reached
- To facilitate collection and reporting of market intelligence, competitor activities, pricing strategies etc.
Investment projects for the area defined:
- To investigate and propose opportunities for new business development in the Aviation segment
People:
- To effectively work with employees through applying the company People management principles to promote a positive working environment which will attract and retain skilled staff and increase productivity
Health Safety Environment and Quality:
- To ensure constant adherence and compliance to company HSEQ and security standards, local by-laws, standards and legislation so as to minimize all risk pertaining to company assets and protection of life
- To ensure effective risk management and internal control for the Aviation Segment

Accountability
- The jobholder is accountable for enhancing the performance and position Puma Energy as a major player in the channel defined and to provide sound financial and operational solutions tailored to the needs of customers to ensure a sustainable increase in market share and optimal profitability for Puma Energy South Africa
Qualification/ Experience Required
- Appropriate degree/diploma in sales / business management or administration and 4 – 6 years marketing and sales management experience in the oil industry or a comparable industry, or Matric plus 6 – 8 years marketing and sales management experience in the oil industry or a comparable industry
- Exposure to analyzing and interpreting financial statements / results either in studies or work experience
- Interacting with employees and customers
- Good sales management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, good analytical and presentation skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of business and legal basics
- Good knowledge of Commercial business environment in Africa
- Good knowledge and application of Puma Energy Compliance requirements, Policies and Procedures, and relevant Petroleum Industry legislative and regulatory framework would be advantageous

Finance Controller: South Africa
Key Responsibilities
Margin analysis
- Monthly reporting of reliable business margin through correct inventory valuation and proper rationalisation of segmentation performance vs in country principles (price structure).
- Preparation of monthly customer and site profitability.
- Price updates and discount review: Review prices updates for new customers and discounts for reasonability/ accuracy/competitiveness before they are input in the system by price analyst.
Reporting
- Prepare daily controls
- Prepare weekly volume flash and bi weekly flash report
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of country financial results (Full P&L, Line of business and FX reviews)
- Preparing monthly reporting packs for the country performance reviews
- Review fixed cost by account and cost centers to ensure that they are reasonable and spending is within budget and that all exceptional items are properly explained
- Focus on providing quality information to the Business with proper explanation for all the elements of the P&L
- Propose new actions to the business in order to be more efficient
- Prepare 3 month rolling cash flow in conjunction with treasury
- Drive ad-hoc analysis as required by the business
- Review stock positions monthly
Budget and Plan
- Prepare annual P&L budget and strategic plan according to group timelines
- Deliver quality budgets on time with alignment of numbers with key stakeholders stating clear assumptions and cross checking of anchor points
- Preparation of the annual capex budget
Capex/Investment review
- Ensure adherence of procurement procedures relating to capex
- Ensure capex budget is adequately utilized by running bi-weekly capex calls
- Ensure accurate capex reporting (Actual and forecast)
- Review of projects prior its approval as per DOA
- Perform business case analysis (P&L, DCF, IRR, etc)
Tax
- Comply with all Group, Statutory and Regulatory requirements of the company, such as Financial Statements and Monthly regulatory reporting eg Petroleum Activities Reports (PAR), Slate, Compensation recoveries
- Liaise with tax team to ensure Tax reporting is correct.
- Ensure that all compliance requirements are submitted accurately and on time.
Ad-hoc
- Provide reports/recommendation to management on any control issues.
- Ensure that the company’s control framework is effective and fit for purpose and that it is aligned to the Group’s Control framework
- Assist in providing information for statutory and internal audits in line with set timelines
- Assist the FM in enforcing controls including DOA compliance

Office Based Account Manager: Commercial
Function:
The Office Based Account Manager is responsible for driving the execution of the Commercial Fuels strategy by coordinating commercial activities across the business to maximise profitability, improve operational efficiency and support sustainable business growth.
The role provides operational support to the Commercial Manager through commercial analysis, portfolio performance management, pricing governance, contract administration, tender submission support.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Support:
- Support the implementation of the Commercial Fuels business plan and commercial objectives.
- Assist the Business Sales Manager and Commercial Managers in executing key commercial initiatives.
- Coordinate commercial activities across departments to ensure efficient execution of business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial processes and operational efficiency.
Commercial Performance
- Monitor sales performance, customer volumes, margins and profitability across the Commercial Fuels portfolio.
- Prepare and analyse weekly and monthly commercial performance reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities.
- Analyse commercial data and trends to identify opportunities and potential risks.
Contract & Tender Management
- Coordinate and support Commercial Manager in the tender process from opportunity identification through submission.
- Support the preparation and evaluation of Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
- Maintain commercial contract renewals and governance
- Monitor contractual obligations and compliance.
Business Development & Portfolio Growth
- Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities.

Requirements:
Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Commercial Fuels, Lubricants, Petroleum, B2B Sales, Wholesale or Commercial Operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing key customer accounts.
- Proven experience in commercial coordination and customer relationship management.
- Experience in contract administration and pricing management.
- Experience working within a petroleum or energy environment will be highly advantageous.
- Experience working with ERP and CRM systems such as SAP, NAV, ePuma or equivalent.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field (preferred).
Skills:

Senior IT/OT Support Engineer
As an In-country IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our organization’s IT systems within your designated locations. You will provide technical support to employees, resolve IT-related issues, be the escalation point for OT queries, and collaborate with the global IT team to maintain a stable and secure IT environment. Act as in-country single point of accountability for all IT projects to be deployed into your Locations.
Key Responsibilities:
User Support:
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Respond promptly to IT support requests via email, phone, or in-person, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Assist employees with computer setup, software installation, and troubleshooting.
Hardware and Software Maintenance:
- Conduct regular maintenance, upgrades, and repairs of computer hardware and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and update software applications as needed.
- Monitor and manage inventory of IT assets and equipment.
Network Support:
