We are seeking to appoint a Call Centre Team Leader to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, leading, and managing teams of 25 or more Outbound Agents to drive new business acquisition. The incumbent will be accountable for achieving sales targets through effective leadership, coaching, performance management, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Drive team performance to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

Fleet Assistant Manager

Description

Icebolethu Group is seeking a dynamic, experienced Fleet Assistant Manager to join our Durban Fleet Department. In this pivotal leadership role, you will support the Fleet Manager in overseeing daily fleet operations—driving vehicle availability, regulatory compliance, cost control, maintenance scheduling, vendor SLAs, and driver supervision across our fleet of hearses, passenger, commercial, and support vehicles to ensure seamless operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Fleet Operations & Allocations: Coordinate daily fleet movements, vehicle transfers, allocations, and de-fleeting across all business units to ensure maximum fleet availability.
  • Maintenance & Repair Management: Oversee preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, vehicle inspections, breakdown responses, and warranty claims through approved service providers.
  • Driver Supervision & Compliance: Manage fleet drivers, monitor driving behavior, enforce policy adherence, track PDP/license renewals, and conduct accident investigations.
  • Governance & Legal Compliance: Ensure full compliance with the Road Traffic Act, OHS regulations, vehicle licensing, permits, insurance, and company SOPs.
  • Cost Management & Procurement: Monitor operating costs (fuel, tires, repairs, rentals), review vendor invoices prior to payment, and assist in budget preparation.
  • Supplier SLA & Performance Reporting: Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, maintain accurate fleet databases, and compile weekly/monthly operational KPI reports.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Fleet Management, Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in fleet operations.
  • At least 2 years of proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing medium-to-large commercial vehicle fleets.
  • Strong proficiency with fleet management software and telematics systems.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

  • Legal & Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Road Traffic Act, transport legislation, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Act, vehicle lifecycle management, and maintenance principles.

Fleet Planning and Performance Analyst

Icebolethu Group is seeking a strategic, data-driven Fleet Planning and Performance Analyst to join our Fleet Centre team. In this key role, you will drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across our commercial fleet by leveraging data analytics, telematics, and financial insights to optimize vehicle utilization, reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), manage supplier SLAs, and ensure full regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Fleet Strategy & Budgeting: Develop short- and long-term fleet strategies, lifecycle replacement/acquisition models, and oversee annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
  • Performance Analytics & Reporting: Monitor fleet KPIs (utilization, downtime, cost-per-km, fuel efficiency), maintain telematics dashboards, and present performance analytics to Executive Management.
  • Cost & Budget Management: Track TCO across vehicle categories, evaluate leasing vs. ownership models, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Supplier & Contract Management: Manage supplier SLAs, negotiate contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and lead procurement reviews for fleet services.
  • Compliance, Safety & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to SA transport legislation, the Road Traffic Act, OHS standards, licensing, permits, and internal governance policies.
  • Systems & Continuous Improvement: Drive digital transformation and telematics optimization, leading continuous improvement projects to eliminate operational inefficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transport Management, Business Management, or Engineering (Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage).
  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in fleet management or transport operations.
  • At least 3 years specifically focused on fleet planning, analytics, or performance management.
  • Proven track record in managing medium-to-large commercial fleets, budgeting, TCO tracking, and supplier contract management.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

  • Systems Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel and Power BI skills are essential for business intelligence reporting and dashboard creation.

Fleet Maintenance Assistant

Description

Icebolethu Group is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Fleet Maintenance Assistant to join our Durban Fleet Centre team. In this role, you will gain hands-on fleet management experience while providing essential administrative and operational support to our Fleet Maintenance Officers—assisting with vehicle logs, service scheduling, supplier liaison, and compliance tracking to keep our operations moving smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Fleet Administration & Tracking: Update vehicle maintenance logs, service records, repair costs, and breakdown databases accurately.
  • Service Scheduling & Inspections: Assist with scheduling routine vehicle servicing, conducting routine vehicle inspections, and capturing inspection checklists.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Help monitor vehicle licensing, Certificates of Fitness (COF), insurance docs, and compliance records.
  • Supplier & Workshop Liaison: Follow up with approved workshops and vendors regarding repair progress, bookings, and quotation requests.
  • Defect Reporting: Record and escalate identified vehicle defects or maintenance needs timeously.
  • Operational Support: Assist with vehicle collections/deliveries, fleet audits, document verification, and weekly/monthly fleet reporting.

Qualifications

  • Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
  • 0–2 years’ experience in fleet administration, transport, workshop administration, or a similar environment.
  • Valid South African Driver’s License (Code 8 / Code B+) is essential.
  • Professional Driving Permit (PDP) is highly preferred.
  • A relevant Certificate in Fleet Management, Automotive Studies, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields will be advantageous.
  • Prior exposure to vehicle maintenance or fleet operations is advantageous.
