Payroll Administrator

Overview

Payroll Administrator Epping Cape town 

Our manufacturing client in Epping Cape Town is looking for a Payroll administrator with 3-4 years’ experience. The Payroll Administrator will process the full payroll on SAGE Payroll. You will be ensuring compliance with South African legislation, including SARS requirements, the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), and other statutory obligations. Salary R 25000 – R 30000

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
  • Certificate or Diploma in Payroll Administration, HR, Accounting, or Finance (advantageous)
  • Sage Payroll certification (Sage VIP / Sage 300 People) – highly advantageous
  • SAPA (South African Payroll Association) accreditation – advantageous
  • 3–4 years’ payroll administration experience using SAGE VIP
  • Experience with SARS eFiling and e@syFile
  • Solid knowledge of South African payroll legislation (PAYE, UIF, SDL, ETI, BCEA, LRA, COIDA, POPIA)
Responsibilities
  • Full Payroll Administration for 250 staff on SAGE payroll/SAGE VIP
  • HR & Payroll Processing
  • Process monthly/weekly/fortnightly payrolls accurately and on time using Sage Payroll
  • Capture new employees, terminations, promotions, transfers, and salary adjustments
  • Process overtime, commissions, bonuses, allowances, and deductions
  • Calculate and submit PAYE, UIF, and SDL via monthly EMP201
  • submissions on SARS eFiling
  • Complete bi-annual and annual EMP501 reconciliations using SARS e@syFile and Sage
  • Ensure compliance with BCEA, Income Tax Act, and applicable Bargaining Council/Sectoral Determinations
  • Reconcile and process payments to third parties (medical aid, retirement/provident funds, garnishees, unions)
  • Administer employee benefits including medical aid, pension/provident fund contributions, and group risk schemes
  • Generate standard and custom payroll reports from Sage (cost-to-company, headcount, leave liability, GL reports)
  • Prepare payroll journals and assist Finance with general ledger reconciliations

Branch Administrator Cape Town City Bowl

Are you a highly organised administrator with strong Sage and Microsoft Excel kills? We’re looking for an experienced Branch Administrator with 5 years’ experience to support the day-to-day operations of our Cape Town branch. As the Branch Administrator, you’ll be the administrative heartbeat of the branch, supporting management and staff with financial administration, reporting, and office coordination. Your Sage and Excel expertise will be key in keeping records accurate, invoices flowing, and reports on time.

Minimum Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage the branch’s day-to-day office and finance administration

  • Assist with general ad-hoc duties to keep the branch running smoothly

  • Follow up on outstanding documents and information
