INTERNSHIP

Grand Gaming Mpumalanga (Pty) Ltd would like to recruit a Mpumalanga based finance intern.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • To collect, understand, process, verify and report accounting related information
  • Assistance may be required in the preparation of monthly or weekly financial reports
  • Develop and utilize spreadsheets, databases, and other computer applications.
  • Manage specialized information, reports, forms dealing with fees, billing, tracking of projects
    etc

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • The following should be submitted and is a requirement when applying:
     Updated CV that includes the following:
     SA Citizenship
     Race and gender for employment equity reporting purposes to the
    Department of Employment and Labour (DEL)
     ID Number
     Cellphone number and email address
  • Latest statement of results
  • A formal letter from the institution that states that the internship is a requirement in order to
    complete the qualification and that also advises the duration of the internship.
  • Correspondence and details of a contact name (Administrator) at the institution where the
    candidate is currently studying

  • Diploma, N6 in: Financial Management or Financial Accounting
  • Must be:
     Detail orientated
     Able to work well in a team and individually
     Must be able to work under pressure

Revenue Analyst

Sun Slots Shared Services (RF) (Pty) Ltd would like to recruit a Cape Town based Revenue Analyst
in their Finance Department with at least 1-2 years’ relevant experience. This position reports to
the Revenue Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

  • The monitoring of the Central Electronic Monitoring System (CEMS) in terms of adjustments,
    queries and cash-ups.
  • Recording of all Site queries relating to cash up variances, noting all stages of investigation
    and resolution.
  • Technical knowledge of CEMS reporting, Qlikview, GGR Statistics, CRM and the
    implementation of processes and procedures.
  • Analysis of any significant machine or site GGR variances.
  • Revenue and game play data gathering from the Central Monitoring System
  • Detailed analysis of game play data and timeous presentation of reports to the various
    stakeholders.
  • Ad-hoc data sourcing and analysis of key games and machines and licensed sites.
  • Ensuring the compliance to internal and external Policies and Procedures and Regulations
    with all related Regulatory Authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Grade 12
  • English, with a second language would be advantageous
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong analytic, numerical, administrative and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and process driven.
  • Ability to communicate well in writing and verbally with internal and external customers
    and third party service providers.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise.
  • Ability to interpret statistical info and to produce statistical reports.
  • Ability to interpret account information.
  • High tolerance to change as the industry changes and therefore internal processes need
    to be modified.
  • Self-motivated, detail driven and deadline orientated.
  • Ability to work in a pressured environment and to manage own stress.
