Salary (Based on experience)

Administrative tasks:

  • Ensure the bid process is followed; Coordinate collection of tender documents and ensure submissions are made on time.
  • Follow up on tenders submitted.
  • Source active legal tenders on various search platforms/portals.
  • Download all bid documents of active tenders and make recommendations to Exco.
  • Maintain a Tender register to monitor tender closing dates.
  • Maintain an electronic file for all Tender compliance documents
  • Ensure all compliance documents are up to date.
  • Provide general administrative support in a timely manner.
  • Co-ordinate communication across the bid team for individual tender cycles.
  • Organise and attend tender briefing sessions.
  • Maintain all tendering/response portals with up-to-date company information/documents.

Technical tasks:

  • Ability to read and analyze a tender document RFP/RFQ
  • Take ownership of internal tender/outcome tracking systems
  • questionnaires/applications as instructed and within the deadline
  • Support with the formatting/quality control activities of bid/tender applications and supporting material
  • Conduct research projects upon request of the Bid Manager/Senior Write
  • Develop a strategy for successful bid submissions
  • Compilation of monthly reports on all tenders.
  • Any other duties as required

  • Excellent professional communication skills.

  • Knowledge of a commercial Bid/Procurement or business development environment.
  • The ability to work both as a team member and on own initiative when required.
  • Microsoft applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Pricing and Cost estimation.

Qualification/s

  • Supply Chains Management National Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree
  • National Senior certificate (Grade 12,passed)

Experience:

  • 3/ + years’ experience in the same position
  • Experience in a legal field would be an added advantage.
