Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position to be based at Supply Chain, Wadeville. The successful candidate will report to the Maintenance Team Leader.
- Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining machinery and equipment on the site per required standard.
- Maintaining and repairing site equipment and building maintenance.
- Attend to breakdowns on packaging machinery and equipment.
- Adherence to Planned and Preventative maintenance schedules.
- Improving OEE and ME (Overall Equipment Efficiency, Machine efficiency) on all production lines.
- Reduce unplanned downtime by improving MTBF (Mean time between failures) and MTTR (Mean time torepair).
- Health and Safety supervision of machinery, equipment and working environment.
- Compliance to OHS Act.
- Provide an effective Engineering service to the Production department.
- Perform administrative tasks (job cards, quality check sheets, etc.)
- Perform stand-in duties, when required.
- Leading and supervising people.
- Participate in E2 / TPM empowering excellence.
- The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
- N3-N6 equivalent with Trade Certificate – Fitter and / or Turner, Mechanical Engineering
- Grade 12 or Mechanical NTC3 qualification.
- Experience in a high speed, high-tech bottling operation will be advantageous.
- Completed apprenticeship with recognized Institution i.e., was registered as an apprentice.
- 3-5 relevant working experience in the FMCG
- Ability to work under pressure and display good attention to detail.
- Proven ability in problem solving and knowledge of the various problem-solving methods.
- Must be self-motivated, innovative and able to work without or limited supervision.

Electronics Technician

- Knowledge of calibration of industrial instruments

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications and experience/skills:
- Matric and Instrumentation Trade Test Certificate with N3-N6/ Diploma In Instrumentation

Forklift Driver
Purpose of the job:
The purpose of this position is to assist with executing warehouse deliverables in accordance to prescribed procedures and with the main goal of enabling operational efficiency.
Expected Daily Tasks:
Ensuring that the correct device is selected for picking and warehouse activities:
- MHE inspection- daily and accurately,
- Report defects and incidents,
- Ensure that the correct amount of stock is picked according to device.
- Complete all daily tasks as per device.
Ensure correct loading of vehicles:
- Scan QR codes and ensure that the trailor/vehicle is correctly loaded.
- Ensure presentability and quality loading.
Daily and monthly stock take:
- Perform daily and monthly counts as per device.
- Ensure accurate counting of the product.
General Duties:
- Perform any activities as per device instruction.
- Be prepared to perform reworks.
- Assisst in Returns Bay as per instruction.
