Dispute Prevention & Workplace Outreach Coordinator

Eastern Cape Province -Gqeberha Office

The Dispute Resolution Department has a vacancy of Dispute Prevention & Workplace Outreach Coordinator in the Gqeberha Office

Purpose: To organize events and to assist the DP&WO Commissioner to ensure that all the support and material is available to enable him/ her to present at different forums and ensure the attendance by various parties.

Key Performance Areas: –

  • Organising and Administering events
  • Capture event plans onto the system
  • Organise various types of events based on confirmation from the DP&WO Commissioner
  • Arrange and book venues in accordance with the DP&WO SOP
  • Order training manuals from National Office when required
  • Draft invitations and send approved invitations to relevant stakeholders
  • Compile a list of confirmed attendees per event when no costs are involved
  • Compile a list of confirmed attendees per event that needs to pay for attendance and forward to Accounts Administrator to issue an invoice and forward the invoice to the attendees via various communication channels
  • Draft reminder mail and send to confirmed attendees, with the map and directions
  • Respond to queries from confirmed attendees
  • Capture the event on the system
  • Compile documentation/ presentations on behalf of the DP&WO Commissioner when required
  • Order and distribute required documentation and material on the day of the event
  • Compile the relevant reports and documents on completion of the training and file in the relevant folders
  • Compile monthly activity and budget monitoring reports accurately and timeously and distribute to National Office.
  • Coordinate the approval of the Service Level Agreements and other contracts by sending to the legal department and file as required.
  • Verify the accuracy and authenticity of evidence to support the delivery of Provincial/ Regional interventions/ activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Grade 12, National Diploma in Labour Relations (or relevant equivalent).
  • 1-2 years relevant working experience in a service/ HR/ Legal environment.
  • Proficiency in at least two (2) African languages would be an advantage.

CONTACT CENTRE AGENT

National Office

The National Office has a vacancy for a Contact Centre Agent.

Purpose: To provide telephonic advice and assistance on current Labour Legislation to the public in line with the appropriate CCMA processing procedures, guidelines and legislation. 

Key Performance Areas (Include but not limited to):

  • Telephonic advice to users
  • Advice related to case queries
  • Capturing Information on CMS (Case Management System)
  • Customer Service Delivery
  • Self-Development

Key Requirements:

  • Appropriate Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in the labour law environment
  • Knowledge of Case Management System
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Teams
  • Knowledge on Labour Law
  • CCMA institutional knowledge

Proficient in Languages: Afrikaans, Sesotho and Setswana

Purpose: To record, safeguard and manage all case files to ensure that files are easily traced and / or retrieved for use by relevant parties.
