EXTERNAL ADVERT: NORTHERN CAPE
Manager: Risk Management and Compliance (salary level 11)
Salary: R849 702 – R1 000 908 p.a. inclusive of benefits
Location: Regional Office: Kimberley (Ref No. SAS NC24/12/03)
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6/7) as recognized by SAQA in Auditing, Police Science, Risk Management, Forensic Science or Investigation or related qualification with 1 – 2 years proven management experience in Risk Management/ investigations;
Knowledge of Anti – Corruption Act/Strategies, NPA Act, Special Investigation Tribunal Act, knowledge of SASSA’s Constitutional mandate and any relevant policies and legislation; Computer literacy and a valid driver’s licence are essential.
Duties: The incumbent will be responsible for Management of identified/reported fraud cases investigated, Management of awareness programmes conducted, Management and updating Operational Risk Register, Manage the resources within the Unit, Ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PMFA, Chapter 6, Part 3).

Manager: Operations Management (salary level 11)

Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6/7) as recognized by SAQA in Management/Public Administration or social sciences coupled with 1-2 years’ management experience in grants operations; Knowledge of SASSA’s constitutional mandate and relevant policies; Computer literacy and a valid driver’s licence are essential.
Duties: The incumbent will coordinate and monitor grant application processes in terms of legislative compliance; Assist with the management, coordination, monitoring and improvement of grant value chain business processes at service delivery points; Data information, management and reporting; Ensure operational and frontline staff are trained, developed and skilled on grant operations; Provide advice on social assistant legislation, policies and procedures; Assist with the management of the Unit and Manage subordinates in the section.

Clerk: Personnel Provisioning & Maintenance (salary level 05)
Salary: R216 417 – R254 928 p.a. exclusive of benefits
Location: Northern Cape Regional Office – Kimberley (Ref No. SAS NC24/12/05)
Minimum Requirements: Candidate should hold a Senior Certificate; Computer literacy is essential; Knowledge of Public Service legislations and Human Capital Management processes; a post matric qualification as well as a valid driver’s licence will serve as an added advantage.
Duties: The incumbent will handle personnel administrative matters which include capturing of information on the oracle system, such as: Recruitment, Selection and Appointment, Staff allowances, Staff resettlement, Transfer of staff between components, units regions etc. Secondments, Long Service Awards and State Guarantees, Termination of services. Leave administration: Handle incapacity leave matters and leave database, Capture leave on the oracle, Monitor leave forms, conduct leave audit, ensure that leave forms are being filed. Assist with the compilation of statistical reports on human capital matters. Support district offices and local offices with human capital operational issues.
