KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Revenue and Debtors’ Management

  • Supervise and process billing for bulk water and associated services (e.g., lab, rental, O&M charges).

  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • National Diploma/B.Tech/ Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial environment, with a focus on revenue, debtors, or regional financial operations. Public sector or water utility experience will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Sage Evolution/Accpac and Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Working knowledge of GRAP and PFMA will be advantageous.

Fleet Controller

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for coordinating the repairs & maintenance of the fleet of Vaal Central Water.
  • Ensure fleet repairs & maintenance quotations are aligned with industry standards (RMI)
  • Ensure all warranties on repairs & maintenance are enforced.
  • Submit monthly fleet maintenance & repairs reports such as vehicle downtime report, fleet breakdowns report, fleet high level technical report, fleet preventative and corrective maintenance reports and fleet inspection reports.
  • Ensure that all fleet maintenance turndowns have been captured on the fleet maintenance register.
  • Ensure that the fleet legal compliance register is updated and monitored for annual (COF’s and Load tests) testing certificates provision.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with the Fleet preventative maintenance schedule and submit accurate monthly utilization reports.
  • To be compliant with all relevant policies and legislative framework for optimal usage of fuel by pool drivers.
  • Conduct daily fleet tracking and respond to fleet alarms on a daily basis.

Laboratory Assistant
