Credit Controller (Temporary) – Pepsico Park CDC Snacks
Responsibilities
Job Overview:To enhance the company’s cash flow and minimize the risk of bad debts. The role is responsible for credit control function end to end, which includes proactively managing and collecting debts of on time debtors’ payments from company debtors. Ensuring both on time collection and maintenance of outstanding debts within agreed targets. Monthly claims management and analysis, by resolving claims with both internal and external customers. Reporting and customer relationship management is also a major requirement of this position.
- Capturing of payments and accurate reconciliation of debtor’s accounts.
- Claims management – control and processing of all claims deducted by customers in the form of transport claims, sallies, ensuring that adhoc claims are processed by the sales admin team and that stock-related claims such as returns and damages is processed on time by the responsible unit.
- Master Data management – ensuring that the master data is 100% correct and compliant to the SOP. Also ensuring the safe and correct handling of debtor’s information, to be in line with the POPI act.
- Maintaining good customer relationships both internally and externally.
- Ensuring that the approved credit terms and limits are not exceeded.
- Bookkeeping – Ensuring accurate clearing of accounts, timeously submitting of statements to avoid nonpayment or late payments.
- Reporting – 30, 60, 90, 120 days reporting and action plans. POD Control. reporting, Price Discrepancy report, Cash Inflow and Settlement discount report.
- Advising superiors of potential bad debts in order to take necessary action steps.
- Inter department communication – Sales Admin, Sales, PFLS, etc.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Finance/Credit Management or related qualification.
- 2-3 Years’ experience in Accounts Receivable (Debtors).
- Computer skills incl SAP & BI.

Procurement Category Flexibles Lead – Cape Town HQ/ Johannesburg
Responsibilities
What we’re looking for:
- Support in designing and implementing specific global technical platforms and supplier competitive Tension tools that will deliver further competitive advantage for the PepsiCo OU’s and bring programs to Sector benchmarks.
- Review and sign-off evaluation of all Flexible Film RFP’s and cover letters, by assessing smart bidding options and utilizing category levers for lowest total cost to business (TCO)
- Lead at all business forums Value Engineering / Productivity ingredients initiatives for South Africa – aligning and utilizing Regional & Global leverage and scale, to deliver minimum run rate productivity and P&L savings
- Establish & Govern CVA / Commodity splits & pricing mechanism for all Ingredients materials – isolate commodity pricing in order to create a cost strategy that provides effective risk management.
- Provide technical leadership to the SA supplier base and be a driver of change and performance improvement for the business in line with Commercial and financial priorities. Qualifications
What will qualify you for the role:
- 13 years of relevant strategic sourcing experience of Flexible Packaging with global organization, involving complex multi-geography supply base and multi-site stakeholders; capability assessed through category relevant questions;
- At least 6 years as senior manager, with spend accountability of $50MM or above,
- Verifiable BCP build capability specific to Flexible Film, authentic functional champion to establish alternates and substitutes
- Established SME on Film Structure/s (PP, PE, PET & OPP; microns, gsm). Deep functional understanding for lowest total cost, Prior ready knowledge of at least 3 years is required for benchmarking
- Upstream film, sourcing model & understanding of conversion technologies and printing technologies are a must have for this role.
- 5% productivity delivery of Flexible Film category Year-on-Year.
- Established leader to steer and persuade accelerated value engineering (without compromising quality and brand image) both for foods and beverages Flexible Film, pipeline value exceeding $10MM annually.
- Hands-on expertise in sourcing models and levers, specific for unique Flexible Film, for cost optimization. Able to demonstrate capability through real life examples

Customer Service Coordinator (Temporary) – PepsiCo Park CDC Snacks

What we’re looking for:
The Customer Support Associate plays a critical role in managing the full life cycle of customer orders for a defined customer group. This includes overseeing DC deliveries, addressing manual order and contact queries, combining loads, and ensuring all operational requirements are met.
The role maintains full ownership from order receipt to final delivery, ensuring seamless coordination with Transport Planning, Supply Planning, and Warehouse teams. A key focus is on maintaining the accuracy of RDD (Requested Delivery Date for PD) while actively engaging with the Customer DC Controller.
The associate also works closely with Commercial counterparts to ensure clear visibility and alignment, helping to drive on-time deliveries and proactive customer communication. Customer issues are managed end-to-end — from initial complaint to resolution — with detailed records maintained throughout.
Additionally, the role supports the consolidation of portfolios, with responsibilities assigned by region and across product categories (e.g., Pioneer and Snacks). This structure enhances efficiency and truck utilization. The associate contributes to building a strong community of practice by sharing best practices across roles and ensuring consistent execution. Weekly KPIs are tracked and reported using the standardized Customer Order Management scorecard to support continuous improvement.
- Manage the full lifecycle of customer orders across category for allocated customer and DC’s.
- Oversee the daily booking process for customer DC deliveries, ensuring accurate scheduling across Pioneer and Snacks categories.
- Plan and validate daily orders, confirming correct plant allocation and redirecting orders when necessary to ensure optimal fulfillment.
- Monitor order sizes (pallets and weight) to stay within truck capacity, working with the sales team to adjust order volumes as needed.
- Drive freight productivity by consolidating smaller orders into full truckloads where possible, and maintain accurate bookings via the customer portal.
- Act as the custodian of booking slot communication, coordinating with transport planners to ensure timely vehicle scheduling.
- Track daily compliance to the booking slots(actual deliveries made to customers according to the committed booking slot) and delivery fill-in rates to maximize efficiency.
- Participate in weekly customer service meetings, providing updates on fill rates, order execution and customer delivery performance.
- Track weekly turnaround times (TAT) for customer DC deliveries and follow up on customer returns where applicable.
- Compile and report weekly KPIs through a standardized customer scorecard to support visibility and continuous improvement.
- Maintain transparent communication with customers regarding order status, errors, and post-order resolutions.
- Compile ASN(advance Shipment Notice) reports for orders due within the week and share with the customers and commercial teams.
- Maintain a tracker for all orders, indicating status of the orders waiting for Planning, Transport planning status, loading and offloading.
- Monitor stock-on-hand (SOH) levels at customer DCs and liaise daily with buyers and internal sales teams to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Coordinate daily booking slots with Freight Planning to ensure alignment with planned dispatches.
- Drive OTIF (On Time In Full) performance for internal teams and across customer groups.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly by identifying root causes, proposing solutions within SLA timelines, and ensuring follow-up for resolution. Connect with the relevant teams internally to understand the root cause and consolidate the feedback to the customer and commercial teams
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Resolve customer complaints via phone or email
Qualifications
