Introduction

Ensure compliance with mine health and safety regulations. Ensure compliance with mine policies, procedures and standards. Plan and organise resources, people and equipment to ensure the execution of the drilling schedule.

Job description

•    Microsoft Office 
•    Ensure that Sampling request are done on time and are done accurately to promote 100% Sampling coverage 
•    Ensure sampling sheets are interpreted correctly. 
•    Ensure grade control in accordance to mine planning.
•    Plan, coordinate and control the drilling and blasting process.
•     Manage the replenishment and distribution of drilling consumables. 
•    Coordinate and control collection and transport of samples

•    Inspect legal compliance and implement remedial actions to address. Record non-conformances and actions required to remedy. 
•    Receive, implement changes in operating standards, SOP, CP’s and monitor implementation. Ensure that this is communicated and acknowledged by all team members. 
•    Exercise and entrench basic principles of safety and basic principles of mining. 
•    Promote and assure adherence to safety, health and environmental procedures. Identify unsafe and hazardous situations. 
•    Diagnose incidents and accidents by completing root cause analyses and take corrective action. Conduct risk assessments. Stop work in unsafe areas.
•     Know and exercise the basic principles of safety and mining. Comply with 
•    Safety, Health and Environmental standards. Identify and report unsafe and hazardous situations in work area. Participate in safety meetings. Take care of your own safety and the safety of fellow employees. 
•    Identify constraints and deviations from the plan and issue new instructions if necessary. 
•    Identify own priorities including PTO’s (Plan Task Observations) and communicate constraints to relevant stakeholders. 
•    Proceed with routine area inspections with scheduled Miner and monitor status of daily operations and adherence to legal requirements. 
•    Conduct Plan Task Observations (PTO) relevant to roof and face prep, drill and blast as well as load and haul operations. 
•    Identify deviations from standards (health and safety), production parameters and priority work to be done. Inspect services operations (ventilations, water, air and drain columns).

To manage and account for both local and export sales with specific focus on revenue as well as associated cost of sales transactions in a mining operation. Ensuring accurate financial reporting, IFRS 15 compliance and alignment with internal cost control strategies.

Job description
Coordinate, implement, control and monitor change plans:

Support and participate in sub-functional change management to drive transformation and optimisation. Drawing from own experience or vocational knowledge, identify and recommend initiatives aimed at eliminating waste, improved productivity and reduce operating costs within scope.

Data integrity control:

Obtain, check and refine information. Collate and submit reports. Run data exception reports and take corrective action. Conduct document control detailed checks.

Identify improvement initiatives:

Identify recurring problems and derive creative solutions involving team members or using own vocational knowledge and experience.

Implement compliance requirements:

Implement compliance requirements. Communicate compliance changes.

Conflict resolution:

Resolve problems as they are encountered to ensure achievement against plan.

Implementation of operational plans:

Ensure operational plan is implemented.

Export Revenue Accounting:

Verify, record and reconcile export sales transactions in accordance with IFRS and company policies.

Monitor and validate export contracts, pricing terms, Incoterms and payment terms

Ensure timely invoicing and revenue recognition based on shipment and delivery milestones

Liaise with logistics and marketing teams to confirm export volumes and pricing

Monitor and validate foreign exchange rates on invoices

Cost of Sales Management:

Calculate and allocate direct and indirect costs associated with exported products

Track/ verify freight, insurance, port charges, and other export-related expenses

Debtors Management:

Process export invoices in line with shipping and contract terms

Allocate payments received

Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue payments

Maintain accurate debtor aging reports

Reconcile inventory movements at harbour with export volumes

Compliance and Controls:

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, customs requirements, and foreign exchange controls.

Ensure all required export documents (invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.) are received

Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory reviews

Implement internal controls to safeguard revenue and cost data integrity.

Ensure completeness & accuracy of revenue and expense reporting

Ensure compliance of IFRS 15

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare monthly export revenue and cost of sales reports.

Prepare monthly Debtors / Revenue/ COS Expense Accrual reconciliations

Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage with external auditors, customs officials, and financial institutions as needed

Liaise with logistics and shipping departments to confirm dispatch and delivery

Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and commercial and sales teams

Tax Accounting services:

Assist with preparation of annual operational mining tax pack, VAT returns, general tax compliance and submit for review to Financial Accountant.

Financial Reporting

Assist with the preparation of statutory, month-end, interim and year-end financial reporting and closure.

Team relationships and conflict resolution:

Maintain active and informative relations with all team members and colleagues, take remedial actions where necessary.

Personal development and participation in team coaching:

Complete Individual Development Plan. Attend learning and development courses. Participate in peer and team learning initiatives. Provide team members with appropriate coaching and development.

To train system users on the various systems available in the Contractor Management cycle, and to ensure reliable data integrity standards and reporting standards.

Job description

Act as a Super-user on the Contractor management system, i.e., Passport 360, conduct system administration and maintenance
Coordinate service provider licenses on Passport 360; user licenses must be in place
Provide training on Passport 360 users and Contractor’s representatives, BRMO Project Leaders, and employees, including workflows are attended to in an allowable timeframe
Ensure overall system health of Passport 360 as the primary Contractor management system, including Support calls logged VS completed
Act as the first line of system support for stakeholders, including Oracle HR, Q Med, Firefly, JDE, and Signify
Verify secondary systems integration functionality to Passport 360

Assist in maintaining data integrity by applying user responsibilities within the contractor management system, availability and validity of data.

Conduct data clean-ups as per instructions by the line Manager, accurately and timely capture of data

Perform daily integrity checks on the Contractor management system in line with the capturing standards

Ensure all data remains current and error-free to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Trends are identified, and corrective action is taken

Coordinate system changes through testing and ensure data integrity before submission of reports. 

Conduct training on all systems based on Passport 360
Share system information during Site meetings
Provide system guidance/training during kick-off meetings
Provide approved training for employees in group sessions as well as one-on-one training sessions when required
Conduct training needs analysis in coordination with the Line manager
Conduct assessments to determine learner competency
This will include internal and external stakeholders

Ensure adherence to SHERQ and Legal standards, and all Safety and health-related issues are reported
