Main purpose / objective of the position:
- The HR Manager will drive the HR Business Partnership with stakeholders across South Africa.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience and Skills
- Proficiency in English is a non-negotiable requirement of this vacancy
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, with experience in setting up an HR department
- Strong understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures within various regions in South Africa

Job Purpose
To oversee and manage all facilities operations across multiple locations within a defined geographical area. The Area Facilities Manager ensures buildings and services are safe, compliant, cost-effective, and support the client’s core business operations
What you will be doing:
Operations & Maintenance

About the role

Job Purpose
This role manages the creation, revision, and enforcement of all aspects of the CBRE Excellerate Integrated Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Management System, or in situations where CBRE Excellerate operates within the client’s QHSE Management Systems. This position interfaces with the client’s QHSE Leadership team to support routine & non-routine QHSE control deliverables. What you will be doing
• Manages the day-to-day QHSE and Compliance operations in the assigned sites’ scope.
• Delivers and implements the CBRE Excellerate compliance program and/or the client’s compliance program.
• Attends Quality Forum monthly meetings to provide in-depth explanations for monthly reports and department metrics.
• Leads and participates in continuous improvement objects for both CBRE Excellerate and the client. •Interfaces, partners, and interacts with both CBRE Excellerate and the client’s functional areas and leadership teams.
• Prepare regular risk assessments throughout the required facilities.
• Responsible for the inspection readiness program for the site.
• Inspection readiness may include periodic CBRE Excellerate & client self-inspections, daily inspections and safety walks to send feedback to the Regional QHSE Manager and relevant stakeholders with improvements identified to reduce risk in the designated facilities, or any external agency inspections like the FDA.
• Has the responsibility to lead audits as well as serve as the primary QHSE representative for CBRE Excellerate operations during external agency or client audits.
• Responsible for the vendor management program for the site.
• Has the responsibility to ensure all GxP service providers are qualified per the CBRE Excellerate regulated vendor qualification process (as well as any client directed qualification program).
• Responsible for the QHSE training and qualification program for CBRE Excellerate employees.
• Participates in creation and management of changes and performs other duties as assigned.
• Conduct daily inspections and safety walks to send feedback to HSE manager, department managers on improvements identified to reduce risk in the designated facilities.
• Prepare and Ensure all QHSE reports are submitted on time as per the required deadlines.

Role Overview:
Responsible for providing an efficient and effective planned preventative maintenance, reactive

About the role
The role is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of site-based security operations, ensuring contractual compliance, disciplined manpower management, proactive risk mitigation, and high-quality client service delivery in line with Excellerate Services Group standards, client SLAs, and all relevant statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising security officers on site and ensuring all posts are manned according to the roster and post instructions.
- Reports any shortages, late arrivals, or deployment issues immediately to the Key Accounts Manager.
- Responsible for monitoring attendance, timekeeping, and conduct of security officers on site in line with the Company Code of Conduct.
- Escalates disciplinary issues and supports investigations as instructed by management.
- Responsible for coordinating the immediate site response to incidents and ensuring incidents are logged accurately in the occurrence book.
- Escalates incidents and submits reports to management within required timeframes.
- Responsible for ensuring that any workplace injury, accident, or health and safety incident is reported immediately to management in line with company procedures.
- Responsible for day-to-day communication with the client regarding site issues and operational matters.
- Refers complaints, service concerns, and requests for changes to management for action.
- Responsible for checking access control registers daily to ensure entries are completed correctly and legibly.
- Reports irregularities and submits exception information to management.
- Responsible for checking that issued equipment and uniforms are worn correctly and are serviceable on site.
- Reports equipment shortages, defects, or losses to management for corrective action
- Responsible for conducting after-hours site visits, standby duties, and responding to urgent operational calls when required.
- Attends meetings or provides telephonic support on rest days for urgent site matters only, as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12) – essential
- PSIRA registration (minimum Grade C; Grade B advantageous depending on site)
Experience:
- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in the security industry, including at least 1–2 years in a site supervisory or acting site manager role
Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of security operations, post instructions, and access control procedures
- Working knowledge of company SOPs and client site requirements
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety procedures and incident reporting
- Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Word and basic Excel
- Ability to complete reports and maintain site documentation
Competencies:
- Good verbal and written communication skills (English; additional local language advantageous)
- Basic people supervision and staff coordination skills

Le responsable des installations de zone supervise et gère l’ensemble des opérations sur plusieurs sites au sein d’une zone géographique définie. Il veille à ce que les bâtiments et les services soient sûrs, conformes aux normes, louables et qu’ils soutiennent les activités principales du client.
Principales responsabilités :
Exploitation et maintenance
- Superviser les services techniques et les services généraux, notamment les systèmes MEP, le CVC, le nettoyage, l’aménagement paysager, la lutte antiparasitaire, la gestion des déchets, la sécurité, la restauration, etc.
- Veiller à ce que les programmes de maintenance préventive et corrective soient exécutés efficacement.
- Collaborer avec les équipes techniques pour gérer les pannes et les situations d’urgence.
Contrôle budgétaire et des coûts
- Préparer et gérer les budgets de chaque site.

- S’assurer que les équipements de protection individuelle (EPI) et les équipements de sécurité sont disponibles et utilisés en permanence par les membres de l’équipe réalisant les travaux en interne et par les membres de l’équipe des fournisseurs partenaires.
- Suivre les procédures appropriées et mener des analyses d’incidents et des analyses des causes profondes (y compris les réponses et les rapports réglementaires) et gérer les conséquences de tous les incidents.
- S’assurer que la formation continue et obligatoire (EPI, LOTO, espaces confinés, etc.) est dispensée et complétée par tous les membres de l’équipe, y compris les réunions mensuelles de sécurité.
- Tous les rapports doivent être remis en temps opportun et complets, et toute la documentation requise sur le site doit être à jour et facilement accessible.

Formation et expérience
- Baccalauréat en gestion des installations, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe.
