Revenue Management Specialist

Job Grade: P10

Nature of employment: Permanent

Job Purpose:
To ensure that the revenue collected is accounted for in a timely, complete and
correct manner.

Minimum Requirements
Degree or National Diploma in Financial Management, Accounting, or a related field with Accounting III completed as a major subject
Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in an accounting, revenue, anddebtors’ management role.
Proven experience working with Excel spreadsheets (including reconciliations, data analysis, and reporting).
Demonstrated understanding of revenue recognition principles, debtor management, and applicable regulatory and compliance frameworks.
Experience working within a financial systems environment (accounting systems) will be advantageous.
Client Engagement and Stakeholder Management

Experience in engaging with internal and external clients regarding revenue,
billing, allocations, and account queries.
Ability to professionally manage customer enquiries, disputes, and escalations, ensuring timeous resolution.
Liaison with internal stakeholders (Finance, ICT, Operations, and Service Delivery teams) to resolve revenue-related issues.
Provide clear financial explanations to non-financial stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities

To assist with accurate and timeous collection and recognition of revenue and debtors
Assist in the management of the business unit by providing the necessary reports and support to management.
Provide input into operating policies, procedures, and guidelines
Assisting in the management of risks and the detection of fraud to the management
Performing of monthly journals and reconciliation.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., ICT, Operations) to streamline revenuerelated processes.

Procurement Administrator (x2)

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the role will be responsible for administering the process in procurement of goods and service in the CIPC.

Minimum Requirements
An appropriate Degree/Diploma qualification related to Supply Chain Management/Logistics/ Procurement or public finance administration or Accounting/Auditing.
At least three years experience (through audit and/or work experience) in public sector SCM procurement
Data capturing experience
Duties and Responsibilities

  • To Perform and administer the procurement of goods and services (Tenders, RFQ’s and Deviations) as per CIPC processes.
  • To administer request for Request for quotations (RFQs) and Tenders
  • Compile, administer and assist with procurement reporting and tracking (procurement registers)
  • To make input into operating policies, procedures and guidelines;
  • To receive and respond to supplier and divisional enquiries;
  • Liaise with all stakeholders within CIPC and assist them in the procurement of goods and services
  • To report on performance and identify and escalate performance constraints and any risks
  • Input and compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Procurement Support: Collaborate with business units to with regards to procurement of goods and services
  • To identify and escalate potential fraud and other risks and suggest mitigating interventions
  • To participate in SCM committees as and when required

The above list is not exhaustive. Other cross functional duties and reasonable duties within the SCM function may be required depending on primary workload.

Skills required:

  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • Analytical Skills: High proficiency in data analysis, forecasting tools, and Excel.
  • Ability to manage complex data sets and procurement registers/records accurately.
  • Ability to analyze market trends to make informed procurement decisions
  • Working knowledge of public sector procurement regulations, supply chain best practices and supplier databases.
  • Experience in vendor relationship management (VRM)
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multi-disciplinary sourcing projects to achieve specific objectives for CIPC.
