Head Legal Debt Management Processes
Requirements
- LLB –Admitted Attorney or Admitted Bar Advocate
- A minimum of 8 years’ proven post experience in a legal
environment dealing with debt collection matters pertaining
to, yet not limited to, handed over accounts per civil
procedure processes, defended matters, insolvent estates,
business rescue, deceased estates as well as contract
management. - A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior position and
managing staff. - MFMA Municipal Minimum Competency is required.
Alternatively, the successful candidate will be expected to
attain such within 18 months after appointment - A good understanding of PAIA, PAJA and POPIA and case
law relating to constitutional and administrative law. - Interpretation of Statutes and other areas of South African
law applicable to the public sector. - Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications with Advanced
Excel - Project Management competence
- Presentation and Report Writing Skills
- A valid EB/B/C drivers’ licence

legal debt collections - Responsible for the updating of City policies within the
Revenue framework - Manage the analysis and aligning the operating capacity
and capabilities of the Legal Debt Management Processes
Section - Compiling reports and doing presentations to Top 5, Branch,
Service Directorates on the progress, strategies and
initiatives of Legal Debt Management Processes Section - Manage the implementation of the City policies and
programmes associated with the financial and debt
management processes for debtors - Managing, developing and mentoring staff in the Legal Debt

Professional Officer – Service Operations and

Requirements
- Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification, preferably a B- Degree
in Commerce, Project Management, Transport Economics,
Transport Management or similar field - Minimum 3 – 5 years’ relevant public transport experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the relevant local
government legislation, financial policies and procedures,
specifically the Municipal Finance Management Act - Proficient knowledge and understanding in the field of

Requirements

Requirements
- A relevant Technical Tertiary Qualification preferably a
National Diploma in Geomatics. This includes a National Diploma
or equivalent in Geomatics/ Geographic Information
systems/Land Surveying / Cartography or
