Opportunities to participate in a thirty-six (36) months bursary programme will be afforded to
matriculants in the following study fields to acquire recognised qualifications to enter the job
market successfully.

• Peninsula Quarry- x1 Civil Engineering Diploma
• Rheebok Quarry- x1 Mechanical Engineering Diploma

Qualifying candidates with excellent academic track record (60% average in academic
results) and good behavioural standards are invited to apply.

ENGINEERING IN-SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES FOR 2026 INTAKE

AfriSam – Construction Materials Cape Operations have an
opportunity for P1/P2 Engineering studies:
 Rheebok x2
 Peninsula x1

An opportunity to participate in a twenty-four (24) months In-Service Training program
will be afforded to a student in the following study field for experiential training and to
gain necessary experience to successfully complete their qualifications.

Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering studies

Students with an excellent academic record of accomplishment are invited to apply.
The successful candidate will form part of the Construction Materials Team in Rheebok
or Peninsula Quarry.
