A B.Com degree at NQF level 7 as recognised by SAQA in Risk Management or equivalent/related field with risk management as a subject. A Post Graduate Diploma in Risk Management would be an added advantage. •A minimum of 3 years of appropriate experience in risk management. •Experience in managing risk registers •Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel •PFMA, National Treasury Regulations, and other National Treasury frameworks. Facilitate the organisation’s development, maintenance and implementation of risk policies and procedures. •Liaise with business unit Managers to oversee the development and maintenance of the organisational risk registers. •Ensure risk management is fully integrated into the organisational strategic planning, monitoring and reporting •Implement incident monitoring processes to improve controls on the reported risks. •Establish and facilitate the use of appropriate methodologies, tools, and techniques in risk management •Assists in risk reporting to the Risk Management Committee, Audit and Risk Committee, and the Council. •Identify the risk management training needs of the organisation’s risk champions. •Identify emergent risks and report to the relevant stakeholders. •Liaise with the Unit managers on the adequacy of the proposed actions in managing risk areas highlighted in the internal audit risk reporting. •Liaise with both Internal and External Auditors on Risk Management.Notes
