Profile

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in various areas such as, but not limited to:
  • Finance
  • People (Psychology or HR Related degrees)

PACKAGING INVENTORY CLERK

The key purpose of this role is the Management of all Raw Material (RM) inventory within the logistics supply chain ensuring product quality standards met &  in compliance ​to all inventory governance processes & controls. All physical movement of inventory is correctly reflected in SAP, inventory differences investigated, resolved & reported. ​​

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • ​RM Inventory quality fundamentals standards are adhered to as per VPO requirements​​
  • RM Inventory accurately blocked in SAP with physical blocking mechanism in place as per VPO standards for quality related & obsolescence stock​​
  • Ensure compliance to the freshness & rotation policy as per VPO standards​​
  • Inventory count are recorded accurately with quantities per storage location & Best Before Dates (BBD) x SKU & bin cards clearly displayed as per VPO standards ​​
  • Inventory concession policy applied & approved as per VPO product age standards​​
  • RM Inventory accurately blocked in SAP with physical blocking mechanism in place as per VPO standards for quality related & obsolescence stock​​
  • All RM salvages are re-packed as per VPO standards​​
  • All obsolescence stock are decanted as per standard policy & procedure​​
  • All Received stock are GRN as per standard policy & procedure​
  • Independent inventory counts conducted on all RM Inventory reconciled to SAP inventory . Inventory count difference identified, investigated, resolved & reported. Un-resolved inventory count differences escalated to RM Controller with commentary & action plans​​
  • All physical movements of RM Inventory are transacted in SAP accurately. Packaging receipts validated by line counters, write-off’s are verified against signed-off documentation & gate sheets​​
  • Breakages, Obsolescence & salvages stock are signed-off & processed in SAP accurately​.​
  • All daily controls, open shipments are reviewed & resolved. ​
  • All claims are processed timeously with signed-off backup documentation & SAB reimbursed ​​
  • Supply Chain Overheads Budget vs Actual costs are monitored with gaps & action plans reports ​

Profile:

  • National Diploma in Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics or relevant studies ​​

REGIONAL LOGISTIC CONTROLLER – CAPE

Key purpose:

The key purpose as the Regional Logistic Controller is to guarantee Logistics financial excellence, implement stringent controls, foster accountability. Ensure the reliability of cost accounting key figures and/or P/L reporting for the Logistics Function. Additionally, prioritize operational discipline, enhance visibility and predictability for price and performance in advance of month-end closing.

Cost Leadership

•Responsible for actual costs in DC’s

•Ensure all DC costs are complete and accurate.

•Manage Balance Sheet entries

•Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the results including transfer price, VIC/VLC, ZBB and asset booking.

•Ensure first time right postings, Avoid accounting errors and postings of manual journals.

•Assume responsibility for managing DC inventory and capital expenditure (CAPEX). This involves ensuring compliance with booking procedures, onsite management, and reviewing internal process compliance. The primary goal is to ensure that asset bookings conform to PRC and IFRS standards, asset management processes align with internal control policies, and relevant processes operate as efficiently as possible.

Controls and Compliance

•Serve as the first line of defense and oversee the execution of controls as defined by Internal Control.

•Ensuring that DC assigned controls accurately reflect the reality of the processes. This includes reviewing the PR-GR cycle and returnable package management.

Cost Management:

•Analyze costs, Benchmark of DC costs and make sure posted accurately Reasonability/accuracy of accruals

•Reconciliation of utility costs (water, electricity, effluent) between internal and municipal readings & ensure accuracy of the accrual

•GRN Compliance (Open PO Management, UOM receipting accuracy)

•Review and understanding of the reallocation journals. Root cause analysis and process improvement to reduce number of journals.

•Approve journals and ensure DAG compliance

•Driver Recon’s and Proof of delivery Recons– Ensuring that its accurately accounted for (Invoicing completeness, sundry debtor aging)

•Returnable packaging – Accurate Accounting + Controls

•MBFU recharge reconciliation (Missing, broken, foreign, unwashable glass)

Inventory Management:

•Ensure Inventory management compliance of FG’s, RM and Empties

•Stock count controls (Quarterly stock count review, reconciliation and ensure that differences are posted) Monthly Review & Quarterly attendance

•Stock movements analysis and investigate anomalies

•Ensure Inventory Controls are adhered to in all DC’s Conduct CSA audits and support in training DC’s on inventory controls.

•Adhoc stock counts at high risk sites based on DC risk score card, Stock Count Variances and Stock Pack Reviews

•Reports to DC’s and DM’s on obsolete stock to reduce the risks of write offs

•Daily Control Check non adherence to be highlighted and flagged and supported to be closed

Capex Management:

•Ensuring capitalization is captured correctly

•Validation of Capitalization in DC’s

•Physical verification of assets – support DC Managers with process

•Impairments (identify, and request bookings)

ZBB and VLC and SCO policy compliance

Financial Planning & Analysis:

•Support the Financial Planning and PPM teams on the forecast by providing inputs for LE & 1 year plan

Minimum Requirement:

•Bachelor or Master in Business, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or CA

•2 to 3 + years, in industry context

•Knowledge of SAP/Syspro, Business Warehouse, Anaplan is a plus

•Previous controlling experience ( preferably site manufacturing )

•Working knowledge of Accounting

•Strong leadership skills

•Good communicator and the ability to work with financial and non-financial collaborators

Logistics Technical Trainee

Job Purpose:
The key purpose of this role is to develop a deep understanding of the Logistics department where you will be immersed into Distribution, Warehousing, Inventory & Planning during a 12-  month period. The Trainees will be allocated to the following sites: HQ Bryanston/Sandton, Isando, Denver and Bloemfontein.

  • A fast paced 12-month Logistics technical program inclusive of exposure to the Logistics function operations and projects as well as interaction with senior leaders
  • Robust evaluations determine progression into each rotation of the program within the 12 months
  • Unleashes potential through 4-month rotational cycles and enabling cross functional work experience in various teams within the respective function

Logistics Regional Controller

WAREHOUSE CONTROLLER

The key purpose of this role is responsible to implement and uphold ABInBev safety standards. Manage the Inventory and Warehousing function so that customer service levels can be optimized and that benchmarked productivity standards are met. Implement standard operating processes in line with DPO standards . Manage VLC, ZBB and FLC budgets in line with annual flexed targets.


Key outputs and responsibilities:

  • Insure compliance to 5’s Standard within and around Warehouse Operation and show results evolution
  • Cascade all Global policies and insure compliance to them
  • Implement and design the management cycle e.g. Business Descriptions, SLA’s, Process Maps, KPI Indicators and ensure compliance with all warehouse staff and show results evolution
  • Develop and continuously validate SOP’s through management routines by using tools and ensure understanding by all warehouse employees ( LnA,SCL OWD)
  • Team rooms managed and updated through routine meetings to solve problems and drive performance
  • Develop and maintain MCRS/MCL routines and track adherence there off
  • Use problem solving tools e.g. 5 WHY, Abnormality Reports, SIC, OPLs, RACI’s, OWD’s, PDCA’s, etc. to develop action plans to show improvement on PI’s and KPI’s
  • Cascade KPI’s and PI’s to individual warehouse employee level, standardize the KPI/PI achievements and monitor individual targets
  • Insure adherence to best practice generation process and execute approved projects and show result evolution
  • Make use of GOP’s linked to warehouse KPI’s and insure 75% score is achieved
  • Utilize GAPA and PDCA for chronic abnormality’s and execute actions derived from analysis Inventory
