What you’ll be doing:

– Ensure that the load is safely delivered on time to the correct destination.
– Ensure that the load is properly secured on the vehicle.
– Ensure that the relevant proof of delivery or reception of the load is signed off.
– Ensure that traffic regulations are always adhered to.
– Ensure that the invoices and fuel slips are handed in daily.
– Ensure the correct tyre pressure according to the weight of the load on the vehicle.
– Ensure that the vehicle’s license disk is visible and valid.
– Ensure safe handling and storage of vehicle.
– Perform various ad hoc driving tasks.

General assistance:
-Ensure vigilant safeguarding of all company property, assets, and stock.

-Assist with stock taking/ counting as per the established procedure, when required.
-Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of store, storeroom, and fridge floors, windows and shelves.

-Constantly monitor customers in the store and assist where possible.
