Job Purpose | HUMAN CAPITAL OFFICER / SENIOR HUMAN CAPITAL OFFICER To provide a Human Capital Business Partner function to Business Units. |
Key Responsibility Areas | HUMAN CAPITAL OFFICER• Partner with assigned business units to deliver value-added human capital management services • Guide the recruitment and selection process in accordance with policy and procedures • Provides advice and guidance on workforce alignment to organizational strategy • Enable optimal employee well-being by providing a welfare and counselling service • Provide guidance on the resolution of problems or disputes between the employer and employee • Provide a Human Capital administration service including data management, storage, analysis and integrity • Promotes training/learning and development. • Ensure the alignment of individual performance with organizational performance • Undertakes special projects as determined by the business needSENIOR HUMAN CAPITAL OFFICER • Partner with assigned business units to deliver value-added human capital management services • Guide the recruitment and selection process in accordance with policy and procedures • Provides advice and guidance on workforce alignment to organizational strategy • Enable optimal employee well-being by providing a welfare and counselling service • Provide guidance on the resolution of problems or disputes between the employer and employee • Provide guidance on Human Capital administration service including data management, storage, analysis and integrity • Promotes training/learning and development. • Ensure the alignment of individual performance with organizational performance • Implements talent management strategy, systems and processes of the organization. • Responsible for special projects as determined by the business need • Represents and/or provide assistance to any of the higher Senior Human Capital positions in the Municipality. |

Essential Requirements | HUMAN CAPITAL OFFICER • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resources Management or any other related and equivalent qualification. • Valid motor vehicle driving license. • 2 Years relevant experience. Job Purpose | Responsible for the Supervision of shift staff on a 24 hour x 7 days per week, determining of processing priorities and attending to specific tasks / jobs that are running on the Council’s multiplatform computer systems.This post reports to MANAGER (OPERATIONS) |
Key Responsibility Areas | • Supervision and training of the staff on shifts. • Checking that processing on the multiplatform systems (mainframe, AS400, Open Systems) are done according to procedures and instructions. • Preparing the workload on the computer systems ascertaining that the run schedules are completed as per agreement. • Monitoring activities on multiplatform consoles. • Escalating production problems that would impact service level agreements. • Handing over to next shift all occurrences on the shift hand over document. |
