CASHIER – RETAIL KOSTER

Purpose of the position:
The incumbent is mainly responsible for terminal sales at the retail
outlet.

The responsibilities of the position will include the following:

  • The encoding of transactions
  • Receiving of payments
  • Cash up of daily sales
  • Enhancement of client relationships
  • Assistance with stock takings
  • Administrative tasks that are normally required to operate a
    successful retail business

Minimum requirements:

  • The suitable candidate must be in possession of a senior certificate
  • At least one (1) year relevant experience
  • The candidate must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English

RETAIL MANAGER – RETAIL GERDAU

CLERK – RETAIL BUHRMANNSDRIF

Purpose of the position:
The candidate will oversee the completion of clerical and administrative tasks
at the retail outlet.

The responsibility of the position will include the following:

  • Inventory control, which includes orders, receipts, shipments, transfers,
    price marking and inventory counting;
  • Customer service, which may include compiling quotes, special orders,
    handling product enquiries, etc.
  • Other tasks such as operating the switchboard, part-time sales, bank
    deposits, and handling of petty cash;
  • Administrative tasks that are normally required to operate a successful
    retail business

Minimum requirements:

  • The suitable candidate must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate
  • The candidate must have at least one to two (1-2) years’ relevant
    experience in the industry.
  • The candidate must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.

MECHANIC – MECHANISATION KROONSTAD

Are you an experienced individual with a proven track record of hands-on work in machinery and equipment maintenance? NWK invites you to be an indispensable member of our dynamic team, where your practical orientation and mastery of maintenance will be highly valued. Purpose of position:
The incumbent will be responsible for repairing tractors, harvesters and implements in and outside of the
workshop. It is important for the incumbent to adhere to set targets, and to deliver exceptional client service.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Diagnostic analysis, fault finding and assistance with customers’ technical related problems
  • Preparing accurate quotations for clients related to repair and maintenance
  • Implementation and adherence to occupational safety standards
  • General administrative duties which will also include: warranty claims, job cards, timesheets and
    logbooks

Minimum requirements:

  • Qualification as a tractor or diesel mechanic
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Willingness to work irregular hours at certain times
  • Proficient knowledge regarding advanced electronic systems of harvesters and the above-mentioned
    product ranges;
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the agricultural / heavy
    equipment
  • Ability to operate equipment used for diagnostic purposes
  • Three years’ experience in a workshop environment (preferably in the agricultural environment)
  • Experience in supervising staff

The following will serve as a recommendation:

  • In-depth knowledge of the CNH product range, focussing on the T7, T8 & T9 range or similar
  • Experience in PLM CONNECT or similar

COMPUTER CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR – LICHTENBURG

Purpose of the position:
The successful candidate will provide telephonic support to internal users,
and will be responsible for daily production tasks within NWK. Training for
the various tasks within the position will be provided.

Critical Outputs:

  • Co-ordination of daily support switchboard calls between different IT
    Teams.
  • Follow-up and reporting of problems to external suppliers
  • Providing support to internal users
  • Completing daily operational tasks

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Administrative oriented.
  • The ability to handle situations under high pressure

Characteristics:

  • Must be dedicated and reliable.
