A 3-year national diploma or bachelor’s degree in information and communication technology (Software Development) and/or equivalent. • A minimum of 3 years’ working experience in developing and maintaining .NET web applications using Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.Net, ASP.NET Core, API’s, MS SQL). • Angular 6+ knowledge will be advantageous. • Extensive knowledge back-end development and database design. • Knowledge of systems analysis. • Working knowledge of SSIS and SSRS. • Experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies. • Proficient verbal and written communication skills – especially with regard to compiling technical documentation are essential. • Strong knowledge of computer fundamentals which include MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.Duties
Design, create and maintain applications using the .NET platform and environment. • Transform requirements into functional applications in line with business objectives • Maintain and upgrade existing applications. • Rewriting/making changes in existing code structure to increase efficiency and performance • Offer technical support for web applications • Integrate data storage systems and maintain code quality • Identify bottlenecks and address issues to ensure the best performance. • Test, monitor, and make better solutions through incremental updates/new features/app optimization. • Provide training to end users on systems or applications developed.Notes
