Project Managers: IDP Program Implementation And Project Management (4 positions)

acancies exist for Project Managers in the Kruger National Park on a fixed term 3-year contract basis.  Project Manager will be stationed in the Kruger National Park:
1 vacancy in the Nxanatseni Region
3 vacancies in the Marula Region

Requirements

• B-Tech or  Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Registration with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions as a Candidate Construction Project Manager (SACPCMP) or any other relevant professional body.
• At least 5 years experience in a Project Management position
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and Microsoft Project
• Sound financial management and contract management knowledge
• A valid Code EB Drivers licence
• Sound knowledge of infrastructure procurement and FIPDM processes
• Sound knowledge of the OHSACT, Construction Regulations and Environmental compliance

Responsibilities

• Ensure sound project and contract management of various IDP program projects relating to Corporate Infrastructure upgrading, Renovations and new works programs
• Administration of contracts in terms of the JBCC and GCC form of contracts
• Ensure compliance with OHSACT, Construction regulations and Environmental
• Management of contracts and contractors as per conditions of contract
• Management of external consultants and internal staff as required
• Compilation of infrastructure maintenance and renovation works budgets
• Project Financial management and progress reporting
• Quality Assurance and compliance with specifications
• Liaise and communicate with relevant stakeholders and role-players.
• Ensure sound internal controls and adherence to policies and procedures.

NB. The incumbents will be expected to provide own accommodation outside the park hence the package took that into account.
