Purpose of the Job: | |
The successful incumbent will be responsible for Investment Compliance functions and support in the Investment Compliance team These functions include, but are not limited to, daily updating of the Investment Compliance system, monitoring of portfolios, reporting of breaches, dealing with ad hoc queries and producing monthly and quarterly Regulatory reports. |

Monitor and asses all breaches for reasonabilityMonitor and investigate breaches older than 1 weekEnsure Market Movement breaches are resolved before the 12 month grace periodAssess and scrub new data received on a daily basisCreate and maintain instrument, issuer and portfolio classificationsMaintain accuracy of static dataPrepare Compliance reports for Regulators and / or Clients and report within the prescribed timelinesPrepare regulatory certificates (e.g. Reg 28, Reg 30 and SARB) and report within the prescribed timelinesPrepare ad-hoc reports |

To maintain a portfolio of funds by completing the daily/monthly/quarterly/annual tasks of the highest quality to clients and the teams contribution and coordination into the Fund’s year end.
