The focus area role of the Project Planner:

Qualifications:

•   Advantageous to have a planner certification from a recognized institute (PMI, AACE).

Experience:

•   2-4 Years post qualification practical experience in a technical field and,

Job purpose statement

The BBBEE Officer will be responsible for the administration of all BBBEE transformation interventions in the Company by ensuring that the data and reports are correctly captured and readily available for the Company to comply with legislative requirements.

Responsibilities

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Modify, compile and review Quality Plans, Quality Control procedures, standards and checklists and documentation to meet requirements.
  • Review SIF Change Notifications, Site Intervention Files (SIF), Installation Specifications (IS), Test Plans (TP), Work Plans (WP) and Quality Control Plans (QCP) and assign inspection points.
  • Perform QC inspections during project implementation.
  • Verify correct documentation at work site, personnel qualifications and M&TE calibrations are current and workmanship standards are met.

Job Description

 PURPOSE OF ROLE  

The Senior Project Accountant role is accountable for the direction, management and performance of the project accounting function. Closely liaising with the Group Financial Manager and Project Manager to ensure accurate project financial forecasting, revenue recognition, accounting and reporting to contribute to the sustainable financial growth of the organisation. 
  

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS  

  • Produce monthly project performance reports (PPR) clearly highlighting thresholds, trends and deviations from the baseline and submit and discuss with PM and submit final report to PM’s and Exco for review;  
  • Capture major supplier / sub-contractor costs once approved information is received from PM (or approved delegate) and timeously submit for payment;  
  • Ensure that no additional cost is incurred without Contingency or Management Reserve Application approval;  
  • Generate invoices to clients timeously for works and contract price adjustment (CPA) once relevant information is received from the PM 
  • Keep track of bonds and advise timely for the renewal and / or reduction of same including that for suppliers / subcontracts;  
  • Manage project retention and its release including that of subcontracts / suppliers 
  • Confirm accuracy of work performed by subordinate project accountants including monthly project performance reports and monthly project journals 
  • Ensure project accounting is performed consistently and accurately through implemented processes, procedures, guides and standards as well as IFRS revenue recognition requirements 
  • Liaise with finance for processing of project related revenue, cost of sales, accruals, retentions and income received in advance as required;  
  • Liaise with CFO and provide assistance to PM’s to develop forecasts and budgets for all projects as required; 
  • Take full responsibility for the audit of the financial statement items, which specifically relate to “projects” 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE  

  • B Com Finance 
  • CIMA, or similiar will be advantageous  
  • 5+ years’ experience as project accountant in a projects environment (ideally in the construction / engineering industries) with knowledge of IFRS revenue recognition

  • Degree / National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Project Management
  • Certified training in PMBOK principals.
  • PMP or Project Management Degree will be advantageous.

Job Description

Purpose:

  • To provide functional area support to the Engineering Department by performing administration duties for the Engineering team.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Administration Diploma / Degree from a recognised institution
  • 3-5 years experience in an Engineering enviroment

Duties:

  • Ensure technical documents are formally transmitted to the DCC. This refers to the hard and soft copies of controlled documents.
  • M-Files Liaison for the technical team
  • Identifying the relevant users of documents to notify document status.
  • Ensuring technical documents are aligned to Lesedi standards and templates by making the necessary minor changes to the output document.
  • Assisting the design engineers with the compilation, sorting, labelling and printing of design packages.

  • Raise purchase requisitions for the Engineering department, e.g. professional services, software renewals, etc.
  • Assist with IFS time bookings by liaising with the relevant project managers

Job Description

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Produce quality technical outputs which satisfy all requirements (Clients and applicable Standards) by adhering to internal processes within the draughting team. The position is a 100% technical.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Participate as part of the proposals team.
  • Concept development.
  • Work in collaboration with the existing engineering team.
  • Basic and detailed design development.
  • Perform 2D/3D drawing outputs.
  • Participate in model reviews.
  • Review responses.
  • Support during installation (site presence, guidance on models/routing, drawing changes etc.)

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
