Administrative Assistant

Introduction

We currently have a vacancy for an Administrative Assistant within our Finance Department (Accounts Payable). The main purpose of the job is to accurately process supplier invoices to ensure the vendors can be paid within contractual payment terms.

Job description

Job Objectives:

  • To ensure that all supplier invoices are accurately processed within agreed timelines.
  • To meet set deadlines based on daily performance targets.
  • To ensure accuracy and pay strong attention to detail at all times.
  • To resolve all open purchase orders within the set KPA and SLA timeframes.
  • To follow up and resolve queries by following the required resolution process and escalation processes.
  • To ensure that all invoices comply with the SARS legislative requirements.
  • To assist management with adhoc requests.
  • To ensure that the company’s health and safety standards and legislative requirements are strictly adhered to.
Minimum requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric/Grade 12 (essential).
  • Relevant Finance qualification.
  • 1 year working experience within a similar environment.

Reconciliation Clerk – Debtors

Introduction

We are looking to recruit a Debtor Reconciliation Clerk to work within the Pharmacy Debtors department of Clicks Group Services. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Pharmacy Debtors Team Leader.

Job Purpose:

To execute the recovery of outstanding accounts related to Private and Rebate debtors and report thereon in order to reduce loss of income on sales.

Job Objectives:

  • To ensure that all data required is received on time and accurate.
  • To process billings submitted by business stakeholders.
  • To follow up on outstanding payments that is outside of normal terms.
  • To account for and reconcile all transactions and records are within the payment term period.
  • To analyze payments and queries and identify trends/patterns.
  • To assist ad hoc on projects and clean ups as and when required.

Minimum requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Matric (Grade 12) essential.
  • Matric level Math’s and Accountancy (desirable).
  • 1 -2 years’ experience in a debtors environment (essential)
  • Intro to SAP (essential).
  • Unisolv, Eezy Solutions (desirable).
  • MS Office (Excel) essential.

Job related knowledge and skills:

  • Ability to read and understand SAP and Unisolv transactions and postings.

Senior Data Analyst

Job description

Job Purpose:

To support the department goals to increase efficient and effective use of data analytics by obtaining more timely access to and management of data assets. Key to the role is to turn data into meaningful information using leading data analytic techniques to present to Senior management in the organisation while assisting in reducing effort on the audit plan.

Job Objectives:

  • Assist the audit team in the field by being responsive to data needs in a timely manner
  • Be the internal liaison between IT and the internal audit team to facilitate data needs for the audit team
  • Assist in investigations and other management requests as necessary by gathering, sorting, and otherwise making sense of necessary data.
  • Proactively search for data anomalies that could be indicative of control issues.
  • Work with internal auditors to understand data needs and brainstorm ways to perform audits more efficiently. 
  • Drive the implementation of a continuous monitoring framework using data analytics to support the relevant internal audit projects
  • Perform special reviews of operations when requested
  • Linking of different data streams and visualisations and graphic output; upskilling and SAS, ACL, Tableau, and visualisation tools
Minimum requirements

Qualifications

  • Essential: Bachelor’s degree or above in quantitative fields such as Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields
  • Desirable: Postgraduate degree in quantitative fields such as Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.

Job-related experience

  • 5-8 years data analytics experience
  • Experience in data management, governance, data acquisition and modeling, data structures and architecture.
  • 3-5 years financial systems or system auditing experience from big 4 preferable
  • Experience in using visualisation tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
  • Utilisation of Microsoft Office products

Job-Related skills & knowledge:

  • Data analytics tools such as ACL/SAS/IDEA or similar
  • Application of internal audit and risk assessment methodologies
  • MS Excel Advanced
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
