Payroll Lead – Paarl Market Street Office

Responsibilities

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a Payroll & Travel and Entertainment & Lead to join our team. Successful incumbent will

  • Identify payroll requirements based on financial, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Administer payroll and oversee services of outsourced payroll service provider.  
  • Conducting reconciliations to ensure payroll integrity. Manage financial postings.

Accountabilities: 

  • Before the pay cycle, identify payroll requirements based on financial, benefits, and HR policies – recognizing the employee requirements for compensation based on the financial, benefits, and HR policies of the organization and legislative changes.
  • Administer payroll- managing the sum of all financial records of compensation for an employee, including pay, bonuses, earnings and deductions. Use a payroll management system to deal with the financial aspects of employees’ compensation, allowances, deductions, gross pay, net pay, etc.
  • Manage payments- managing the total payments made in employees’ payroll, including bonuses and compensation.
  • Process and distribute payments- processing and distributing compensation to all employees. Execute the payroll management function through the dispensation of employee compensation.

Distribution Manager – Aeroton Bakery

Responsibilities

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a Distribution Manager to join our dynamic team. The role is physically located in Johannesburg, Gauteng and will be reporting to the Bakery Manager. The individual is responsible for the execution of product flow to the sales organization within the area.  They are the chief custodian of custodian service and distribution effectiveness and will interface across all zones and areas to insure that the product is available on an ongoing basis to meet or exceed sales volume plan as well as improve customer service and planning & logistics performance.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for the following:

  • Manage the daily operation of distribution activities and secondary distribution fleet of vehicles and staff.
  • Ensuring that the customers get their stock on time and in full
  • Managing of Key Account Staff (Drivers and Van assistants)
  • Ensure that all vehicles are in a road worthy state at all times.
  • Ensure timely deliveries to customers (manage the transport arrangement collection and deliveries) by communicating and liaising with Customers on store management level.
  • Ensuring effective distribution of product to all outlets to achieve 100% customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Maintain control in Despatching of stock to ensure that all stock items can be accounted for at all times.

What we’re looking for:

The purpose of this job is to Lead Move categories (excluding primary freight) across SA Cluster, managing a total spend of approximately $38MM, through (1) Defining and executing category strategies: Risk Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Innovation and Productivity, (2) Measuring and Improving Performance, (3) Achieving Annual Plans and Delivering Productivity and (4) ensure supplier compliance to PepsiCO Processes.

Sourcing

  • Lead strategic procurement initiatives for the Move Category in SA BU’s, working to develop and implement category strategies which are appropriate for the BU
  • Govern the development of Category related sourcing contracts and agreements, lead negotiations and conduct developments with key suppliers
  • Define sourcing strategies based on changing market conditions and provide input during strategic sourcing activities, including internal and external analysis and negotiations
