| Key Responsibility Areas | Provides advice/information and guidance on the principles, procedures and applications associated with basic or average complexity structural engineering processes encapsulated in specific projects of a broadly defined nature. Applies principles and techniques associated with the development and presentation of technical designs. Disseminates information on the professional and technical aspects of structural engineering design concepts and provides reports. Coordinates sequences associated with the preparation collation of contract documentation and/ or the evaluation of tender applications. Controls the implementation/ outcomes associated with time, quality, and cost of specific basic and average complexity structural engineering contracts. |

Job Purpose
Co-ordinates sequences associated with the determination of client needs, monitoring
contractors’ compliance with contractual terms and conditions, standards, procedures,
regulations, and specifications, preparing and presenting investigational and qualitative reports
and processing approving specific transactional works documentation and, conducting
instructional and/or demonstration-based training aimed at improving and capacitating
emerging contractors.
Key Responsibility Areas
Evaluates and determines client requirements in respect of maintenance or
modifications to air conditioning refrigeration and ventilation plant and, related
equipment.
Co-ordinates tasks/activities associated with the implementation of procedures and,
monitors Contractors / Departmental Teams compliance with standards and
specifications in all mechanical maintenance work/ projects.
Performs specific administrative tasks/ activities associated with the updating and
maintaining records/ information of work in progress and completed works.
