Critical Functions:
- Administrative and technical organization and support of performances during preproduction, and production stages in the different performance theatre spaces of the

Requirements:

- Proven record of technical skills (lighting and sound).
- Proven record of technical involvement in theatrical productions.
Knowledge and Skills:

The Faculty of the Arts and Design in the Department of Fine and Studio Arts has Part time
positions for Curator/Art Collection Administrator.
Critical Performance Areas:
- Act as curator for the TUT Art Collection.
- Produce condition reports for the artworks in the TUT Art Collection.
- Serve as secretariat for the TUT Art Collection Committee.
- Identify and solicit artworks of TUT alumni to be annexed to the collection.
- Conduct an institution-wide audit of artworks currently owned by the university.
- Assist in underwriting the most valuable artworks in the TUT Art Collection.
- Allocate asset numbers to the most valuable artworks in the TUT Art Collection.
- Organise an exhibition of the TUT Art Collection.
- Assist in the development of an Acquisitions Policy that will guide the collection of
artworks. - Administer the catalogue/book project for the TUT Art Collection
Minimum Requirements:
- B Tech/Advanced Diploma/Postgraduate Diploma/Honours degree or equivalent
qualification in Fine Art/Visual Arts/Art History/Curatorship or related qualification. - Minimum 1-year working experience in a professional environment.
(candidates with curatorial experience will be given preference) - A portfolio of experience within the visual arts industry will be an added advantage.

The Directorate of Quality Promotion seeks to employ a Quality Advisor: Accreditation. This is a
permanent position based at Pretoria Campus.
Key performance areas/Core functions:
- Develop and implement quality mechanisms and guidelines for programme planning,
approval, accreditation, and registration. - Liaise with Strategic Management Support (SMS) to ensure a coordinated approach to new
programme planning. - Conduct all quality assurance activities for the new and revised programme and qualification
approval, registration, and accreditation. - Provide advice and operational support in the development and implementation of the new
and revised programmes and qualifications. - Manage processes to continuously update the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT)
Programme and Qualification Mix (PQM) in liaison with internal and external stakeholders. - Research, design, and develop the internal academic programme and qualification approval
systems, processes, and practices. - Coordinate the Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) accreditation related activities
- Manage and maintain the Council on Higher Education (CHE) Online Systems.
- Plan and conduct capacity development workshops on programme and qualification
accreditation, approval, and registration - Project manage all types of external accreditation and validation activities.
- Coordinate and provide quality assurance support to academic divisions for Professional
Council accreditation activities - Coordinate and provide quality assurance support for the site accreditation for the offering of

all environments and campuses - Participate in Institutional Effectiveness & Technology and DQP cross-functional quality
assurance and promotion projects conducted across all campuses of the University. - Represent DQP in institutional committees and task teams (e.g. Faculty Boards).
- Compile and present reports to institutional committees and various environments across
TUT to inform decision-making in the university. - Undertake other duties deemed reasonable and commensurate with the quality advisor’s
post functions. - Execute tasks delegated by the Director or/and Deputy Director of DQP.
- Must be prepared to work extended hours during peak project times.
Minimum requirements
Academic qualification:
- Master’s degree
Experience:
- Five years in a higher education academic environment or experience working in statutory
regulatory agencies such as the Council on Higher Education (CHE), South African
Qualifications Authority (SAQA) or UMALUSI - In-depth knowledge of the academic programme quality assurance processes.
- In-depth knowledge of the South African Higher Education landscape including regulatory
policies and frameworks. - Knowledge of programme accreditation, approval, and registration mechanisms.
- Knowledge of academic programme planning.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and programme review
- Knowledge of statutory professional council requirements.
- Knowledge of the QAF.
- In-depth knowledge of the South African Higher Education landscape including regulatory
policies, frameworks, standards, and guidelines of the external regulatory agencies (CHE,
Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), SAQA, and professional council). - Excellent written, oral, and electronic communication skills in English, especially concerning
professional and scientific report writing, proposal writing, and making presentations. - Experience in compiling and presenting high-level reports.
- Attention to detail and providing critical analysis.
- Proven engagements with the CHE, DHET, SAQA, Professional Bodies, and other related
accreditation agencies in higher education. - Experience in working on several projects simultaneously
