GRV Clerk

Job Title: GRV Clerk

Location: Sandton, Johannesburg

We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented GRV (Goods Receiving and Verification) Clerk to join our client’s team in Sandton, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely receipt and verification of goods delivered to our facility.

Responsibilities:
– Receive and verify goods delivered to the facility against purchase orders and delivery notes
– Record and report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate team members
– Maintain accurate records of received goods in the company’s inventory system
– Assist with inventory management and stock control as needed
– Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any GRV-related issues
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the receiving area

Requirements:
– Grade 12 with Maths/Maths Lit
– Qualification in related field
– At least 2 years relevant experience 
– Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
– Physical ability to lift and move heavy boxes or items if required
– Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

Creditors Clerk

Salary: R300 000 /Year

Hire Resolve is currently seeking experienced Creditors Clerks to join our client’s team in Johannesburg. As a Creditors Clerk, you will be responsible for processing accounts and managing payment activities in accordance with financial guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • The processing of supplier receipts & invoices on an ERP system
  • The preparation and finalization of supplier reconciliations
  • Monitoring and reconciliation of sub ledger control accounts
  • Monitor and review list of outstanding purchase orders
  • The preparation of daily and month-end EFT payments
  • Liaison internally with site managers and buying department
  • Liaison with external suppliers
  • Maintaining of proper filing system
  • Monitoring of BBBEE status of vendors
  • Capturing and maintaining Raw Material Schedules
  • Capturing Internal labour hours on Job cards

Requirements 

  • Grade 12
  • Further financial training will be advantageous
  • 1-2 years’ experience in creditors administration
  • Have knowledge and experience with ERP software (Preferably Accpac)
  • Write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must be prepared to work after hours when needed
  • Will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Will be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • No criminal record
  • Assisting in preparation for internal and external audits

Procurement Clerk

Overview

Hire Resolve’s client, who is in the Mining Industry, is seeking the expertise of a Procurement Clerk to join their team in Gauteng. The Procurement Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services for the mining industry. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, delivery receipts, and contracts.
  • Assist in identifying potential suppliers, obtaining quotes, negotiating prices, and placing purchase orders.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local and international regulations related to procurement.
  • Resolve any purchasing discrepancies and work closely with other departments to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Assist in inventory management and tracking of supplies to ensure optimal levels are maintained.
  • Provide support to the procurement team in managing the sourcing process and analyzing market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities and trends for management review.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a procurement clerk in the mining industry is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of mining industry regulations and practices is a plus.
  • A diploma or degree in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
