Foundation Phase Teacher (Grade R) – Curro Midrand
- An appropriate academic and professional education qualification from a recognised institution.
- Relevant experience in teaching Grade R.
- IEB experience.
- Current SACE registration.
- A clear criminal record.
The responsibilities are:
- Plan, control, record and report on assessments.
- Attend meetings, forums, workshops for the grades/phase as required.
- Create an educational atmosphere in the classroom.
- Take responsibility for any and all school equipment and stock of the class.
- Work closely with the teachers in the grades/phase to ensure the effective running of the grades/phase.
- Manage, plan, assist and promote teaching and learning within the class.
- Manage, plan, assist and promote activities (sport and culture) within the school.
- Manage, plan, assist and promote discipline within the grades/phase.
- Assist with sport and other admin duties as and when the need arises.
- Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
The successful candidate will start as soon as possible.
Head of High School – Curro Waterfall
- Must have at least Honours in Education.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Good track record with Matric results.
- Ability to lead and nurture staff members.
- Excellent management & leadership skills.
- Knowledge of IEB curriculum.
- Current SACE registration.
- A clear criminal record.
The responsibilities are:
- Working together with the executive head and school leadership to ensure high standards of teaching and learning practice and processes.
- Performing teaching duties while being head of academics.
- Actively assisting the executive head in ensuring good professional practice, standards, and quality of teaching and learning of subject/s in the school.
- Advising and contributing to curriculum development at school and system level.
- Coordinating the teaching and learning of the curriculum prescribed by the group.
- Ensuring timely and adequate provision of textbooks, materials, and equipment required for effective teaching.
- Ensuring that the maintenance and upkeep of equipment related to learning is regularly carried out.
- Preparing specifications and budgets for the requirements of the subject-specific teaching tools and equipment, including laboratory equipment.
- Mentoring other teachers in the subject/level of their specialty.
- Holding and leading regular departmental meetings and ensuring the keeping of minutes.
- Encouraging participation in group curriculum projects.
- Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.

Bursar – Curro Waterfall
At least a B degree or equivalent (three years), preferably with a major in accounting plus five years’ relevant experience where such experience includes:
Experience in a financial role, or as a bursar.
Experience in accounting, cash flow management, debtors’ management and contract management (financial element).
Experience in administration and payroll management.
Excellent computer skills.
Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills.
A clear criminal record.
The responsibilities are:
Day-to-day management of the finances of the school under the direction of the executive head and regional accountant.
Managing of budgets.
Monitoring of all income and expenditure relating to internal budgets.
Preparing of financial reports for the executive head.
Assist at school functions when required.
Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
