Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:
- Basic literacy / Minimum Grade 10
- 0-2 Years experience preferably in facility maintenance.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Ability to handle difficult situations and stress
- Work in adverse weather conditions
- Must not have a fear of heights
- Must be able to perform standby duties and work overtime as required
- Indirect supervision of EPWP workers and the control of sub-contractors when required
Responsibilities:
Management of the Barkly West Sports Facility including:
- Handling all bookings and enquiries for the sports facility.
- Responsible for minor maintenance and repairs to the facilities.
- Maintenance, upkeep and cleaning of ablution facilities.
- Responsible for the control of sports equipment.
- Prevent damage and vandalization of the facilities.
- General ground/courts and soccer field maintenance, watering and cleaning.
- Prepare the facility prior to sporting events.

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:
- Matric/ Grade 12 or equivalent Qualification
- Basic Traffic Officer Diploma
- 2 years operational experience
- No criminal record or previous convictions
- Registration as a road traffic law enforcement officer
- Valid Code B driving licence (*Code C1 or EC – *added advantage).
- Registration as road traffic law enforcement officer
- Examiner for Driving Licences and/ or Examiner of Vehicles Diplomas (*added advantage).
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge, understanding and implementation of road traffic systems, practices and
principles - Understanding of the Road Transport sector and road traffic management legislation
- Knowledge of the Road Traffic Management Corporation Act, National Road Traffic Act,
Criminal Procedure Act and other traffic related acts - Understanding of inter-governmental relations
Responsibilities:
Although not limited to, the primary responsibilities will include:
- Conduct effective traffic law enforcement and by-law enforcement on the roads.
- Stop vehicles for inspections and conduct point duty (traffic control)
- Issue traffic fines and execute warrants of arrest
- Impound cars that are not roadworthy, illegally parked or abandoned.
- Conduct pedestrian violation enforcement.
- Conduct speed measuring and overload control
- Attend to moving violations and drunken driving
- Public transport law enforcement.
- Attend and liaise with SAPS to record, control and secure accident scenes.
- Conduct physical escorts for VIPs, abnormal loads, and events.
- Conduct crowd control and man scholar patrols
- Ensure compliance with all policies and Standard Operating Procedures in the execution of
duties. - Maintain records and registers for accidents, infringements etc. in the work area. Give
evidence in court for any transgressions. - Any other traffic related duties.

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:
- Grade 10;
- At least two (2) relevant experience in truck driving;
- Valid Code 10 (C1) driver’s license;
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- Coordinating work with the work schedules of other
- Safety around the workplace/workspace is clean
- Must be able to understand and follow basic instructions and be held accountable for task
accomplished - Required to work outside normal working hours, on standby, during emergencies and planned
overtime.
Responsibilities:
Although not limited to, the primary responsibilities will include:
- Collection of refuse using a tipper truck and dispose at the landfill site;
- Participate in the cleaning program at Dikgatlong and Project Consolidate;
- Keep vehicle clean;
- Record information on loads transported and any other information;
- Ensure the regular maintenance and repair of the vehicle;
- Keep vehicle log book and complete after daily operations;
- Complete field work report forms providing the information regarding work progress;
