DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- INVENTORY MANAGEMENT:
- Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing products.
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to ensure that inventory remains accurate and up-to-date.
- ORDER FULFILMENT:
- Pick, pack, and prepare products for orders.
- Ensure that orders are accurately fulfilled and that products meet quality standards before dispatch.
- RECEIVING AND STORING:
- Receiving items, checking for accuracy, and store products in the correct locations.
- Handle and store products according to safety and hygiene regulations to prevent contamination.
- DOCUMENTATION AND RECORD-KEEPING:
- Maintain proper documentation of inventory movements, including shipping and receiving logs.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to update and track inventory.
- QUALITY CONTROL:
- Inspect products for quality and freshness, reporting any issues with damaged or expired goods.
- Ensure all poultry products are stored at appropriate temperatures to maintain quality.
- HEALTH AND SAFETY COMPLIANCE:
- Follow all health and safety regulations, particularly regarding the handling of perishable goods like poultry.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols in the warehouse environment.
- TEAM COLLABORATION:
- Work closely with other warehouse staff, such as forklift operators and supervisors, to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with transportation teams to coordinate deliveries.
