Role Purpose
The Technical Medical Underwriter evaluates the risk of providing health coverage to employer group members by examining their medical history, demographics, lifestyle, and other health factors. This analysis supports decision-making and aligns with business objectives using established policies and guidelines
Requirements

Relevant Health Sciences Degree or Diploma
At least 5 Years experience as a medical underwriter
Competent in the assessment and management of underwriting decisions
Understanding and knowledge of Group Insurance products and underlying philosophy is an advantage.
Technical knowledge and some experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Big Data relative to industry is advantageous
Role may require travelling to Clients when needed, code B license and own vehicle required

Role Purpose
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong analytical skills to assist in the realization of Business Strategy, through the understanding and clear communication of product requirements to all impacted stakeholders. Maintain the general ledgers.
Reconcile two tier balance sheet items.
