ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

(C-LOWER PATTERSON GRADING)

Purpose of the Job:
Processing of supplier invoices, performing
reconciliations and processing payments, while
maintaining effective supplier and internal
relationships.
Administration of foreign currency orders and
reconciliations.
Supervising office facilities and staff.

Location:

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in
    Bookkeeping/Accounting will be
    advantageous.
  • 3 – 5 years within an Accounts Payable role.
  • Knowledge and/or exposure to Oracle
    Finance system or similar ERP System and
    Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of VAT requirements related to
    supplier payments.
  • Knowledge of general ledger reconciliations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Processing vendor invoices and payments in
    accordance with Company policies,
    procedures and applicable legislation.
  • Reconcile monthly vendor statements and
    resolve outstanding items.
  • Reconcile and clear allocated general
    ledger suspense control accounts.
  • Prepare journals and supporting
    documents for accruals and charge outs to
    intercompany accounts.
  • Provide information to the Payroll
    Department for staff deductions.
  • Attend to related queries with internal and
    external stakeholders.
  • Ordering, administration and reconciliation
    of foreign currency requests and claims.
  • Maintain an effective filing system.
  • Supervising receptionist and cleaning staff
    and related activities

Responsible for implementing, configuring, and
maintaining ERP systems, with a strong focus on
optimizing business processes and driving operational

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a
    related field
  • Relevant cloud ERP certifications (e.g., SAGE,
    SAP, Oracle, Microsoft) advantageous
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in
    cloud technologies, data migration, and system
    integration

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 – 5 years of proven experience in
    implementing, configuring, and maintaining cloud
  • based ERP systems, ideally in a mining,
    manufacturing or similar industry

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the implementation, configuration,
    maintenance, and continuous improvement of
    the cloud ERP system at Two Rivers, ensuring
    seamless integration with existing IT
    infrastructure, alignment with both Two Rivers
    and ARM corporate requirements, and optimal
    performance;
  • Develop and deliver, in alignment with the
    vendor, comprehensive training programs and
    ongoing support to ensure user adoption,
    proficiency, and satisfaction across Two Rivers.
    Collaborate with the ARM corporate office to
    leverage centralized training resources and best
    practices;
  • Identify and implement process improvements
    specific to the Two Rivers, leveraging the cloud
    ERP system to streamline operations, enhance
    productivity, and drive business value. Align
    process optimizations with ARM corporate
    standards and guidelines;
  • Implement and maintain robust security
    measures to protect the cloud ERP system and
    sensitive data at Two Rivers. Ensure compliance
    with both Two Rivers and ARM corporate
    regulations and internal policies related to data
    privacy and security.

MINE MANAGER

(GRADE: EL)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • To lead the mining team in the cost-effective
    optimisation and extraction of the ore body
    and to ensure compliance to the Mine
    Health and Safety Act, Minerals Act and its
    Regulations as a 3.1(a) appointee.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12.
  • Mine Managers’ Certificate of
    Competency.
  • Mining Engineering Degree/Diploma will
    be advantageous

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in
    underground mining and the
    management of diverse teams;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ managerial
    experience;
  • Trackless mining experience would be
    advantageous

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Trackless Mechanic

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Assist the GES and Foreman and
deliver quality work output in the dayto-day work activities within the
relevant policies, procedures and
legislation.

REPORTS TO
Foreman: Trackless

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 10 or N2 with 4 relevant
    subjects
  • Valid Trade Certificate Section
    13/26D

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years mining
    experience on TMM
  • Completion of the TRP
    Apprenticeship Programme
  • Ability to read drawings and
    schematics
  • Good communication skills in
    English
  • Valid Drivers’ Licence

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to the legislated safety, health and
    environmental standards in every task performed
  • Conduct pre-start checks
  • Isolate and lockout with relevant documents
  • Assess and respond to specific risks related to
    Trackless Mobile Machinery
  • Perform the job as outlined in the Work Order and
    as per the detailed Task List
  • Capture history and complete the notification to
    the required standard
  • Confirm Work Order with the correct time and all
    details to the required standard
  • Communicate if spares, equipment or other
    factors were not available for job on the work order
    and to the Maintenance/shift Supervisor
    (Trackless)
  • Conduct fault finding on hydraulic systems,
    internal combustion engines, transmissions,
    Torque Converter, Axels and drive lines
  • Assist in tyre changes
  • Attend to breakdown quickly and safely
  • Capture all data related to the stoppage to aid in
    determining the root cause
  • Change out of item/component
  • Create Works Order detailing item to be drawn
    from stock
  • Create reservation for rotable on Works Order
  • Create subsequent notification
  • Complete all fields on the “Damage” tag on the
    return item to rotable store
  • Physically transport damaged rotable to lay down
    area
  • Conduct maintenance and breakdowns as
    required.
  • Submit reports as required

VOHE OBSERVER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The VOHE Observer will provide the
company with specialist Ventilation and
Occupational Hygiene Engineering services
and expertise. The area of expertise is in
the provision of Ventilation layouts, designs
and specialist monitoring of stressors to
ensure the health and safety of all
employees and affected stakeholders.
Implementation of appropriate systems and
functional best practices within the function.

REPORTS TO

  • SENIOR VOHE OFFICER

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12,
  • Practical Certificate in Mining
    Environmental Control.
  • Intermediate Certificate in Mine
    Environmental Control Paper 1 (full
    intermediate advantageous)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Air quality analyst certificate

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • At least 1-year experience as VOHE
    Trainee, VOHE Observer or a SHEQ
    related field.
  • At least 1-year Trackless mining
    methods experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Air quality monitoring and ventilation control
  • Temperature and humidity control
  • Sanitation management within a prescribed
    area
  • Risk assessment and hazard identification
  • Communication of potential ventilation and
    occupational hygiene issues/hazards etc.
  • Keeping up to date with and monitoring
    compliance to ventilation and occupational
    hygiene legislation in terms of Section 7(2) and
    7(4) read with Section 9, 11, 12(1) of the
    MHSA and Chapter 5, 8, 9, 16, 17, 22(9) and
    23 of the Regulations related to the Mine
    Health and Safety Act, Act 29 of 1996
  • Technical interpretation on ventilation and
    occupational hygiene issues
  • Measuring up-cast and downcast volumes for
    legislative compliance.
  • All relevant duties and responsibilities as per
    the MQA and SAQA VOHE Observer definition
